A Designer Breaks Down on The Cut

July 05, 2005 11:02 PM by Joe Blackmon

"They’re Looking at Me like I Killed Somebody"- When one team’s final design project is missing a crucial piece and the team is on the verge of missing the deadline, a designer breaks down under the pressure, on THE CUT, Wednesday, July 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The 12 remaining designers are divided into two new groups and sent on a design mission.  Half of the designers from each team are sent on a trip to research designs based on the culture of the American West and are to report their findings to the teams back in New York.  When one of the teams on location calls back to New York to download the rest of the team, a communication breakdown between two designers leads to a heated exchange.

Meanwhile, on the other team, one designer spends all of the team’s money on a risky proposition, which leaves the teammates furious. A last ditch effort to come through for the team leads to a tense cab ride back to the Cutting Room with only seconds to spare.

Since it was NOT mentioned on last week’s show about the change slot, is there a re-run possibility for those of us who missed the July 6th show????
