Is Kaysar Ridha the Most Normal Guy on Big Brother 6?

July 12, 2005 11:01 PM by Joe Blackmon

In the promotions for Big Brother 6, it has been repeatedly emphasized that Kaysar is a Muslim who wakes up to pray every morning at 5 A.M.  One might think that Kaysar would stand out in the house and have a hard time fitting in.  However, in a house full of models, wannabe actors, and over-the-top personalities, Kaysar Ridha might just be the most normal houseguest on Big Brother 6.

On the Tuesday, July 12, 2005 episode of Big Brother 6, the houseguests compete for the power of golden veto.  In a twist, the competition is limited to the head-of-household, the two nominated houseguests, and a partner that they each select.  Ashlea Evans selects Howie Gordon, Kaysar Ridha selects Eric Littmann, and Rachel Plencner selects Maggie Ausburn.  The veto competition involves a race to be the first team to get untangled from a web of ropes twisted around a jungle gym.  Current head-of-household Rachel winds up winning the veto competition.

Rachel also discovers a secret room in the Big Brother house.  In addition to containing luxurious beds, the room has a key that unlocks the hot tub.  By winning head-of-household, winning power of veto, and finding the secret room, Rachel has quickly established herself as a dominant force in the Big Brother house.  After a brief drama where Jennifer Vasquez upsets Rachel by going into her head-of-household room and locking the door, Rachel ponders using the veto on Ashlea Evans and putting Jennifer up.  However, Rachel finally decides not to use the power of veto.  The next episode of Big Brother 6 will air on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 8P.M. ET on CBS.

Rachel really screwed up telling people about the secret room the way she did. She should have either A: told no one or B: told everyone that she was instructed to find the room on her own. This is going to come back and bite her.

It appeared to me that Big Brother got tired of waiting for someone to find the secret room. First, the note and the remote control were left on Rachel’s bed, then the TV zoomed in on the books in the secret room and then the notes that were left were not difficult to interpret. Big Brother practically held her hand and guided her to the secret room.

Kaysar and Eric should both keep their stupid comments about the war off Big Brother. Both of them are weird. This is the worse Bog Brother so far.

Kaysar is cool fellow and is correct to condemn James for his foolish comments.

Kaysar is the smartest guy in the house and he actually HAS a brain. he is calm, collected, stratigic and kind which is not what i can say for other houseguests like Crappy and Ivette. Captain Crappy is a dictator who has no brains and a big mouth. Ivette is a disgace to the whole U.S. because she is racist and small-minded. She doesn’t know anything about the game itself OR the religon of islam so she has no right to condemn it or exploit Kaysar in anyway. I truly believe that kaysar is really the ONLY houseguest who actually deserves to win.

I am with you. Not only is he cooly analytical and slightly diabolical, he knows human beings, especially Americans, and he knows more about them than they know about him. I believe he will be a target for eviction soon, he is a very real threat, but I wonder if the other house guests are even intelligent enough to best him. Watching Kaysar should be required for the strategists on Iraq. It is a demonstration of looking at Americans from a different perspective.

Kaysar is doing a great job of representing Muslims. He is showing the american public that us muslims are smart people and we can handle ourselves in any situation. He is being decent and modest, yet he is getting along with everyone in a very human way. I love the guy! He is intelligent and not to mention incredibly HOT! I can tell everyone right now, that Muslims all over America are proud to watch him represent…and break the typical stupid stereotypes. I for one as a Muslim woman, am very proud to watch a Muslim man be so open about his faith and beliefs on TV. If anyoen out there knows Kaysar, tell him to call me anytime! :)
