The Cut Contestants Make Over Punk Rock Bands

July 19, 2005 11:03 PM by Joe Blackmon

"I Just Stabbed Myself" — The 10 remaining designers form new teams to style two New York punk rock bands, on THE CUT, Wednesday, July 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The designers meet Tommy Hilfiger at the legendary rock and roll club CBGB on New York’s lower east side.  There, they are split into teams and assigned to create a distinctive style for two New York City punk rock bands.  In order to get a real feel for what the bands are like, the teams are told they must move into the band’s lofts in Brooklyn. After a day of scrambling around the city assembling the elements of their designs, both teams are greeted by raging parties when they return to their temporary lodgings where they must work amidst the wildest gathering of rockers they’ve ever seen.

When the merrymaking finally ends and the designers have the full attention of their clients, one team faces disqualification when one of their band members disappears as their assignment deadline looms.
