Big Brother Contestant Kaysar Ridha To Become a Soap Opera Star?

August 28, 2005 11:01 PM by Joe Blackmon

Big Brother 6 evicted houseguests Michael Donnellan and Kaysar Ridha have been communicating to fans through message board postings.  While normally someone posting on a message board claiming to be a reality TV star would be suspect, these postings are occurring on an official message board for Michael Donnellan’s website and appear to be legit.

On the message board, Michael Donnellan made an appeal for fans to vote for Janelle Pierzina in the America’s Choice poll so that he will get a chance to talk to her via phone.  Big Brother fans have also been clamoring to see more of Michael and Kaysar on television.  Many fans have suggested that the two should do the Amazing Race.

While there has been no official word on a possible Amazing Race appearance by Michael and Kaysar, Kaysar Ridha has also posted a couple of times on Michael’s message board and has made mention of at least one possible future television opportunity.  Kaysar posts “I have been asked to appear as a guest on a day time soap, should I take the offer?”

If Kaysar does take the soap opera opportunity, then he will not be the first reality TV star to do so.  Jeff Wilson from Survivor: Palau has appeared on The Young & The Restless, Tom Westman from Survivor: Palau has appeared on The Bold & The Beautiful, Joyce & Uchenna Agu from Amazing Race 7 have appeared on The Guiding Light, and Drew Daniels from Big Brother 5 has appeared on The Bold & The Beautiful.

Kaysar also mentions that he is working on his own website and has posted thank you messages to the fans who voted him back into the house.  One of Kaysar’s posts says “I wish I could put into words how much I appreciate each and every one of you. This experience has been a blessing.”

Kaysar is the best reality star to ever grace our Tv’s, I wish him nothing but the best. I am so glad that he excepted Mike’s offer and introduced himself to all of us. I have watched other reality tv shows before, but Kaysar is the only one who has peeked my interest. He has such a charasmatic and selfless air abour him. Yes he has physical sex appeal (there is no doubt that he is easy on the eyes,) but it goes so much deeper then that. He has a way of drawing people to him and into him, he captures us with his wisdom and profound integerty. He carries himself with confidence yet he doesn’t come across at all arogant or self centered, in fact he appears genuinely humble and selfless, which makes him all the more endearing.
I really hope that C.B.S does not let him get away. He has more to offer then the average reality star, He is an intelectual that has the abilty to reach many, many people and I for one learned so much from watching him. He is a postive role model and could reach so many people if given the chance. He became the most popular house guest in BB history (and that was in a record setting five weeks who knows what records he would have broken had he made it through to the end??) I hope Big Brother was just a stepping stone for him and that he becomes the first reality star to outshine the usual fifteen minutes of fame. I would love to see more of Kaysar and although I am sure he is happy that he was offered a guest spot on a soap, I feel he has so much more to offer then starring in a quick blink and you’ll miss him soap spot. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy that he is getting offers and I have nothing against Daytime Tv, I just feel that Kaysar could do so much better then the usual parting gift of a TV guest spot. He opened doors in reality TV that have never been open before and I would like to see him get his just reward. It would be more rewarding to see him become a part of something where his intelect can be put to use or at least to become part of something where we the public can see him; the real him and not a made up Character for all of five minutes. There is so much more to Kaysar then ‘just’ his looks and I would hope C.B.S. or some other network would pick up on that. The thing that makes him different than the Drew Daniels and other past reality stars is that he has a substance that goes deeper then just good eye candy, While he has that going for him as well he also has a much deeper layer to him and his looks are just an added bonus to draw people in.I think he has the abilty to touch this country in a profound way and I hope that many, many doors open for him. I just hope that whatever path he chooses, he chooses it because it is what he wants and it makes him happy. The most important thing to remember is that he stays true to himself and doesn’t get blinded by the glare of hollywood (I doubt that well happen because I beleive he has a good head on his shoulders.) I have no doubt that this is just the begining of his journey and no matter where it takes him I hope he will always be the same sweet, brilliant Kaysar that we all fell in love with. He changed reality TV for the better and I and so many will never forget him.
Go get em’ Kaysar you deserve nothing but the very best!!!

First off, I like Kaysar. I was one of the many who voted him back into the house as well.

However, people are making him out to be some type of angel. It reminds me of the ‘Freindship’ and their sickening Eric love.

    Kaysar isn’t perfect.

Afterall… let’s look at the facts.

Intregity – He lied in the house just like everyone else did.

Arrogance – He actually believes he’s better than everyone else, and his poo doesn’t stink. Guess what. i’m sure it does.He also rags on others’ negative aspects while convinetly ignoring the fact he’s guilty of the same exact things. Hypocrisy is what they tend to call that.

Intelligence – While Kaysar is smart, and made one of the best moves ever in BB history; he also made TWO of the biggest mistakes in BB history.

To me, eh’s no better or worse than any other BB house guest I have seen.

Anyways, besides the negative comments in this post, good luck in your future endeavours Kaysar. And, I mean that sincerely.

How does one have a selfless air?

Wisdom and profound integrity – HARDLY

Confidence – YES, PERHAPS TOO MUCH

not at all arogant – HE WAS AS ARROGANT AS BEAU WAS WHEN HE WON HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD.

not self centered – OK, HE WAS

genuinely humble – THIS GUY HAS THE WORST SMARTER THAN THOU ATTITUDE

he has the abilty to reachIf he really is an intelectual HE WON’T BE REACHING MANY. THIS COUNTRY HATES INTELLECTUALS.

    - he has the abilty to reach few
I for one learned so much from watching him. LIKE WHAT? THAT HE MADE A BIG MISTAKE TRYING TO TURN THE HOUSE UPSIDE DOWN SO SOON IN THE GAME?

He is a postive role model and could reach so many people if given the chance.
He opened doors in reality TV that have never been open before and I would like to see him get his just reward.

    WHAT DOORS WERE THOSE?

It would be more rewarding to see him become a part of something where his intelect can be put to use or at least to become part of something where we the public can see him; the real him and not a made up Character for all of five minutes.

OKAY, SO YOU ADMIT THAT YOU DON’T KNOW THE REAL HIM, SINCE ALL YOU KNOW IS THE MADE-UP CHARACTER THAT YOU SAW FOR 15 MINUTES.

There is so much more to Kaysar then ‘just’ his looks and I would hope C.B.S. or some other network would pick up on that. The thing that makes him different than the Drew Daniels and other past reality stars is that he has a substance that goes deeper then just good eye candy,

UNFORTUNATELY, HE IS JUST EYE CANDY, NO DIFFERENT THAN DREW DANIELS, NO SMARTER THAN DREW DANIELS. EXCEPT FOR ONE THING, DREW DANIELS WON BIG BROTHER.

Kaysar may be intelligent but he certainly isn’t smart. In other words, he has the brains but he sure doesn’t know how to use them.

Kaysar is the greatest reality TV contestant ever? Hardly, but to each their own.

As far as the voted back in thing, great numbers no doubt. I would argue that Survivor Rupert Boneham has the greatest feat under his belt with viewer voting. He completely dominated America’s Tribal Council.

Was up against 17 Survivor All-Stars and still received 87% of the 38 million votes cast. Fans of the most popular reality show ever choose him overwhelmingly over season winners and a few of the best batch of characters the show has ever had. Kaysar was only up against 2 new reality contestants who the public only had a few weeks to get to know.

Wish Kaysar the best in everything he does however.

I agree with to each his own. I think the deal with the whole Kaysar thing is because he is fresh right now. I don’t feel as if he is any better or any worse then his predessors but I don’t feel as if we should be nit picky or put down his fans. Right now he is considered a celebrity of sorts and he has his fair share of fans. Is he the most popular Reality star ever; I serriously doubt that but if his fans want to see him like that then so what, let them; who cares??? I have heard a lot of various post gushing on and on about him all over various message boards Kaysar has posted a few messages on one site himself. The fans at that forum give him the the “star” treatment and you would think he could do no wrong; Does it irriate me; not really because I think it’s expected that people are going to gush over him the way fans do anyone with so called fame. Look at the claymates; or Bo Bice and Constatine fans. I am not comparing Kaysar to them, I am simply pointing out that Those people where just average dudes and then the next thing you know woman are screaming and throwing there panties at them. Whether you are a reality TV star who sings, dances, spends months on and island, or hangs out in the trump tower; whatever it is that you do on TV you become discovered (even if it’s just for a spilt second.) Yes Kaysar is an ordinary guy he just happens to have been on TV and right now the ladies are going Ga ga over him, that’s one of the consquences that occure when you take on a gig like he did (the other is being remembered in an Omarosa sort way; I guess he is fortuante that he didn’t recieve the reconition the way she did.)
Just let the fans be who they are and don’t take it to personal; fans will be fans no matter what and they will all swear that there ‘star’ is the best on the planet. I am sure that you have someone that you consider to be your icon as well, if not then at least try to be a little tolerate of others who do.
Kaysar’s just a dude who went on TV, he’s nor more special than you or I, but to his fans he brings some sort of gratifucation; what that is I couldn’t tell you, nor do I care. So, while it can be midly annoying for some of you to read the endless gushing of the Kaysar posts, it should not be unexpected. He’s famous; maybe for just 15 minutes until the next hottie comes along but what the heck, he might as well enjoy it while it last; I doin’t think anyone here would refuse to trade places with him would they??
His light will shine for a little while and then it will be onto the next “big” thing and then the next, but in the meantime Kaysar fans are eating him up and I for one am okay with that.
Best of luck to you Kaysar and enjoy the ride.

First off I love our country, I am proud of our country and the men and women who serve it proudly, but aren’t we suppose to be over in Iraq as liberators we are supose to be helping them right??? That is why we took down there dictator isn’t???? Well isn’t? I believe that is what are president kept saying and continue to say right?? So why the attitude? Secondly, Iraq is not the enemy Osama Bin Laden is the enemy (and he is from Afghanastan by the way) Sadam Hussain is another enemy; The terrorist of 9-11 were the enemy but Middle eastern people are not and never were the enmey. We are Not fighting against religion or skin color and for you to see it that way makes you a very sad, sad person. You seem to be pretty ignorant and small minded and you don’t appear to have the facts right. You seem like a very angry person and for that I feel badly for you, Do you really think that it is appropriate for you to come on to a reality TV forum and start a political debate?? How in the world did Kaysar (a reality TV Star) become tangled up in the world events. He is not a terriost, he is just a man, a person like me and you and it irks me that irrogant people such as yourself can not see past someone skin color or religon. You must be one very miserable person deep inside (Are you related to Ivette; or better yet your name wouldn’t happen to be Eric Littman would it??) If you don’t like Kaysar that is fine, but don’t judge him or anyone else on their race. Let HIM go to CNN as you suggest. A white boy would slit my throat out of stupidity-this scum and his people would slit it out of malice and ignorance. Don’t be blinded by your bleeding heart love for cute foreign idols-they will kill you, can’t you see? Iraq is the enemy, they hide people like osama. Grow up, and take off the rose colored glasses. One more question; America first are you predjust of Paula Abdul (her ethnic background includes syrian blood)how about Selma Hayek (Her father is middle eastern) How about Keanu Reaves he has some middle eastern blood as well. The point is, There are good and bad people every where, all over the world. We have tons of good hearted people in this country but we also have or share of wacco too, have you forgotten timothy Mcvay, or the whole collibine instance, but that doesn’t mean that all teens are bad or all Irish people. What about Jim Jones, or Charles Manson. There is good and evil every where, you can’t judge someone because of there race. Are you realy this predjust, if so how sad to be you. Kaysar is the most OVER RATED BB player EVER. He was nomiated three times, and EVICTED twice. He lied, he broke promises just like everyone else; but the difference is he thought all of his deceptive backstabbing moves were “only strategic.” His arrogance was sickening and he made several strategic blunders which is why he was evicted twice.

Bottom line, he was evicted TWICE because he wasn’t a very good player. His “aura” is nothing more than sheer conceit and arrogance, which thankfully cost him in this game.

Regardless of where he comes from, he was an arrogant jerk, and now he’s gone!! Buhbye kaysar…enjoy your 15 minutes of shame!

As for April I hope she does not make it to the final 2 I will be extremely disappointed. Also Ivette is a back stabber and the biggest poor sport on the show. I’d like to see James and Janelle final 2, Howie’s too slow of mind. Enough with all this political BS! Its only a game.

he (or she) is right. hayek, abdul and keanu are not from iraq,so that argument is dead.this is not about a soap opera star, or bb’s good player-the mam is from iraq, a country that is against our country at this moment, and we should not welcome him or give him any adoration. his people don’t respect us or our world view or our allies, so why should we let him entertain us? the only way he could entertain me is by getting on a plane and going home to iraq permanently. His uncle or mother or dog or hamster or whatever getting shot in the head over there by his own people or otherwise should not give him the right to enjoy our land. i vote to evict that slime out of my country.

Its funny how people think sometimes, weird in fact to actually hear, I’m not use to it. Kaysar didn’t turn out to be the greatest player, but one of the greatest people (on the show). Why don’t you dis Ivette, she’s quite annoying and “make me sick April”, she should have nominated Beau and Ivette. The maggots have been going around truly dissing the bb fans, for voting Janelle for the phone call. Janelle isn’t a hater, fans really didn’t care about why anybody wanted a phone call which was just fine with me. Janelle doesn’t like Michael as a boyfriend she’s a girl trying to give herself a character, she’s a girl looking to make some money however she didn’t need Michael to make herself likable. She’s got good instinct and a great judge of character thats why she liked Kaysar, a real person.

Arguing with a rock is right Canada first. This person has so much hatedred and anger that it so isn’t funny. I could try again and again to reason but sadly ignorant people can not be reached (hence that is why they are ignorant.) I am so glad that the majority of people aren’t that full of hate, you (America 1/America 1 is right; most likely both are the same poster )spur your words and loathing views like a sickness thank heavens most of us are immune to the rage that you have contracted. Unfortunatly you sound as hateful as the supposed enemy that you describe and I ask you how is that helping you or any of us?
Any how my two cents are a waste because I will not see your view and you will not see mine, so how about you let this drop. This is a forum for a reality TV Show, I’m sorry you have such a chip on your shoulder, but this isn’t the place to vent you political views. Like it or not Kaysar and his family live in America this is their home now okay doeky?? they don’t need you or anyone elses approval. Hope you resolve whatever issues you have …er just not here on this forum
    Okay?

Good job STOP THE HATE, now we just got to rid ourselves of Maggie and April before BB 2005 is unofficially over. Picture a world with a population consisting of only Maggie and April. How boring is that?

TO AMERICA FIRST: I love my country, hate my govt, but you sir are just born ignorant, eh? Iraq is NOT our enemy and never was. Hussein was our enemy and he’s gonna be killed thru the judicial system. Iraq was Babylon, the place where Jesus was born. It’s a very hallowed place (was). And women had lots of rights until WE got there….
it’s a bogus war-for-oil war that was in the makings for 20 years.

Do a little research before you go online and make yourself look like a moron. Study history. Study anything that will open your pea-brained mind.
