Howie Gordon and Janelle Pierzina make a last ditch effort to try to convince Ivette Corredero to vote out April Lewis. Howie draws a parallel between their plot and Star Wars, saying it could be like when “the clones turn on the Jedis.” Initially, there appears to be a slight chance that their plan will work as Ivette seems to have a growing dislike for April. Ivette says, “April has done nothing but say how she doesn’t care about the money, she’s not here for the money, and the closer we get the more she talks about the money.”
The two women in Ivette’s outside the house life, her girlfriend and her mother, make a guest appearance. We were actually feeling a little sorry for Ivette’s girlfriend after the last episode when Janelle called her “ugly as hell,” but Ivette’s girlfriend looked a thousand times better on tonight’s show than she looked in Ivette’s head of household picture. She has evidently had a makeover and lost the huge, nerd glasses. She was also very personable and friendly, even talking about how she liked Janelle. We suggest that she gets ahold of that head of household picture and burns it, because it looks nothing like her now.
A sneak peak at the jury house actually reveals that it is now more entertaining than the real Big Brother house. James arrives and flips the bird to his new jury housemates. James and Jennifer don’t bother to hide that they don’t like each other. While watching the eviction video, James says “when you’re a coward you have to backdoor people” in reference to April. While Jennifer tells James, “You’re such a jerk. Get over it.”
Ivette sheds some more tears over April wanting the money, giving Howie fans some more hope that there might actually be a surprise vote coming. Janelle votes to evict April and Maggie votes to evict Howie. As the head of household, Ivette has to cast the tie breaking vote, and she stays predictable and votes out Howie.
Julie Chen announces a new America’s Choice competition. Viewers can vote for a houseguest to spend the day on the set of Two and a Half Men. If Janelle wins again, then viewers should be treated to another Ivette cry fest.
The head of household competition is called “Before Or After.” Houseguests have to step forward of backward based on if they believe the answer to Julie Chen’s question is before or after. April and Maggie both miss three questions each. Janelle answers all seven questions correctly and wins head of household.
