Big Brother 6 – The Ending All The Fans Feared

The finale of Big Brother 6 isn’t until Tuesday night, but for many fans, Big Brother 6 ended on Friday night. When last we saw our houseguests, they were battling it out in the fist stage of a three part head of household competition. Friday night’s episode started off with the conclusion of the first leg of the head of household competition. Ivette outlasted both Janelle and Maggie to win the endurance competition and the combination to the final safe. Inside the safe is a note that tells Ivette to go to the back yard. In the back yard, Ivette finds out that her prize is a pair of scooters.
The second stage of the head of household competition is a clue challenge where the answers are numbers that make up the combination for a lock. Janelle wins this stage of the head of household combination, setting up a showdown with Ivette.
Janelle lets Ivette know that she is taking her if she wins the final stage of the head of household competition. Janelle also points out to Ivette that Ivette won’t win if she goes to the final two with Maggie. The best move for Ivette if she wants the half-million dollars is to secretly throw the competition and let Janelle take her to the final two.
Julie Chen asks the houseguests who they miss the most and the least. Janelle misses Eric the least, while both Ivette and Maggie miss Eric the most. Julie also offers updates on what some of the former houseguests are doing. Ashlea has been sewing, Kaysar and Michael have been following Internet polls, Eric has been getting use to his new nickname Cappy, and Sarah has been flipping through photo albums filled with pictures of James. Eric also professes “I look at Ivette and say that it’s like I’m looking in a mirror.”
The final stage of the head of household competition is another one of those “how well you got to know your housemates this Summer” competitions. Since “The Friendship” was attached at the hip for most of the game, “The Friendship” members usually have an advantage in these types of competitions. The initial round of questions results in a tie. In the first tiebreaker question, Ivette and Janelle come up with the same answer. In the second tiebreaker question, Julie Chen asks “how many hours have you lived in the Big Brother house from the night you entered until 5P.M. this evening?” The question could have proven to be controversial since Janelle and Ivette haven’t been in the house for the same number of hours. (Janelle left the house to visit the set of Two And A Half Men as part of her America’s Choice victory.) However, both contestants go over, and Ivette comes the closest to the actual answer.
Ivette wins the overall head of household competition and chooses to take Maggie with her to the final two. An excited Maggie hugs Ivette and nearly loses her pants. Ivette’s choice is very interesting, because after talking about how important the money was to her family for most of the game, Ivette essentially chose friendship over the money. Ivette would have probably faired much better in the voting against Janelle rather than Maggie. There is still a chance that Ivette could win if the other houseguests decide to reward her for her loyalty, but the odds should be in Maggie’s favor.

I was surprised that savvy Janelle fell for Ivette’s nice act/play-to-the-jury. I think on reflection she’ll realize she was had. I know April wasn’t taken in by that lame act. It’s surprising that Janelle didn’t recognize Ivette’s speech to her was just a recycled version of the farewell speech to April.
No, Ivette hasn’t chosen friendship over money–quite the contrary. First, she’s been playing to the jury ever since she savaged Rachel. She’s factored in the persuasiveness of her phoney act as she gushes over each evicted guest along with being loyal to the nerds by keeping Maggie. And of course, there’s all that bull about how much her family needs the money.
But she’s reasoned wrongly. She’ll get James and Beau’s votes. That’s 5-2. Even if she gets one more vote, she still loses. Who else will vote for her? Janelle? Not likely. April? Nope. Jennifer? Probably not.
Hate to see Maggie win, but it is nice to think about how unhappy Ivette will be a year from now when her $50,000 is gone and she reflects on the ongoing changes in her “friend” Maggot’s life as a rich woman. And Ivette will be more unhappy than she’ll be able to admit to anyone–after all, she chose friendship over money, right? Ha!
Lezzy, you were wrong–the evil people don’t always win. You just lost half a million.

HA HA The Nerd Herd won!! All you Janelle lovers (you know, the bitch that broke up with her boyfriend while on a reality show and supposedly has good morals) can thank King Kaysar for the loss. He sealed their fate when he evicted Eric.

Kaysar promised not to evict Crappy provided he did not participate in the Veto competition. Crappy participated anyway so Crappy sealed his own fate. Kaysar did not lie to him.
Ivette did not choose The Friendsheep over the money. She chose The Friendsheep over HER FAMILY AND LOVED ONES. She owed nothing to Maggot and yet chose her over Tush and her own mother.
I don’t care who wins and will not be watching Sat, Tues. Doesn’t matter b/c I hate them both.

I am totally Disgusted, the last scene with Ivette on the couch with Smug Maggie all happy made me seriously run to the bathroom to throw up! I will not be watching Tuesday nor will I ever watch Big Brother again, what a waste of of my time after Janelle one, I mean sure, it’s a game but to see those two evil bitches as the final two, my heart breaks and I really am over it! I really don’t think that Maggie deserves any of the money. She used all the “fiendship” to do the dirty work for her. And all of them ended up in the jury house so SHE could win the money. oh well it was still a great season. I just can not root for either ivette or maggie to win after they have called the viewers of this show such horribly things.

Maggot reminds me of Danielle in BB3. They both had someone else do all their dirty work and I hope Maggot meets the same fate as Dani. If Evilette wins she needs to use some of that money for therapy. This chick has some MAJOR issues. Have you ever seen someone so clingy and desparate to be accepted..Cappy, Cappy, Cappy, James, James, James, Maggie, Maggie, Maggie? This is a game fool! Family always comes 1st. Maggot wouldn’t have had anything to do with someone as loud and crass as Evilette outside the game. Maggot thinks she’s a cut above Evilette, yet her dumb butt says “Maggot, you believed in me” what is she 5? I don’t like Evilette or Maggot but at this point Evilette has earned the money. 2. How are Maggie and Ivette evil? They played the game better than the other alliance. Yup, they lied, but they also stayed true to their alliance. The ‘brilliant’ King Kaysar showed his hand before he and his team had a numerical advantage on the ‘Friendship’ (blech! worst name for a team since ‘the Clippers’) Howie let himself be manipulated into turning on his own alliance. Kaysar gets a second chance and blows it (Jennifer took a page out of the evil doctor Will Kirby playbook on that one). Maggie and Ivette evil? Nope. Better players than those evicted? Definitely.

i think in the end, the Sovereign alliance fared better. They were clearly the fan favorites and will likely have more public success after the show. Eventually, the public always gets what it wants. as for the final two, it’s an anticlimactic finish to an intriguing season. even fans of Maggie must admit she rode the coattails of her group. besides the HOH she won after Eric was evicted, and the POV April and Ivette gave to her, Maggie didn’t perform well when the pressure was on. My hope for Ivette is that she’ll eventually see how nasty of a person she can be and grow from the experience (who is she to say a person doesn’t have a soul?!) Since it appears her family needs the money, i hope she wins.

We have seen this year that America has been well represented. This is true in the house as well as fans outside. Not all the delusional people could play, so they sign on here to bash people. It really is a good cross-section. No one played the game all that cleanly but props to the NH and the sheep outside for taking it DOWN to a whole new level.
I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Did the people who bash Janelle actually watch the same thing we did or are they just excited that their post is on the internet?

Apparently there are a lot of nerds posting to this site. It’s been obvious all season which side is favored — NOT the Nerd Herd. Week 1 Eric promised that Michael was safe. First major LIE of the game. So much for honesty and integrity. From that point on everything and everyone was fair game. I’m sick of the so called Friendship constantly bashing the other side (obvious jealousy). Sure the S6 weren’t saints, but it was never a constant b****ing and moaning session like the NH. The Friendship was elminated because they trusted players that shouldn’t have been trusted — Howie listening to Maggie, Kaysar trying to be nice & trusting that little b**** Jennifer.
For those Janelle haters, get over yourself. You’re all just jealous that she turned out to be a better player than anyone ever dreamed. She may not have won the final HOH, but she has nothing to be ashamed of, she played the game well and was by far the most popular BB6 player other than Kaysar.
As for Ivette and Maggie, neither one deserves a penny for their performances. Maggie contributed nothing to the game, just rode on the coattails of Crappy, the god (puke) of the BB6 NH. Drama queen Ivette doesn’t have one stategic brain cell. If she wanted to win, she should have gotten rid of Maggie instead of April, the super twit of the season.

First off, Eric didn’t promise Micheal on his life. It was Micheal that decided sexual harrassment is okay. I mean…. who in life doesn’t start kissing and sucking on the necks of complete strangers without their consent when you’ve only known them for 2 weeks? Who cares if they have boyfriends or husbands?

Micheal even had a chance of staying in the house. Eric came to him and calmly told him that the women didn’t like him kissing and sucking their necks. That they feel uncomfortable with him because of it.
Micheal could have been an decent adult and said “Geeeezz… I guess I didn’t realize it bothered them. I’ll tell them I’m sorry, to forgive me and that it will never happen again.” That would have gone a long way in taking the eviction crosshairs off himself.
But instead, he went over-the-top around the house, screaming and ranting at the women, saying stuff like “so I’m a rapist huh?!?”. Then he started talking crap about Eric’s family. He sealed his own fate. With all that and the majority of the house wanting him out, I’m supposed to keep my promise of not evicting him?!? Yeah right! You woudn’t either!
Kaysar was the ONLY person in the house to vote to keep him in. Not even his new girlfriend Janelle voted to keep him in folks!
And to MARIE:
I saw the video were Eric asked Kaysar to swear on his life not to put him up if he doesn’t put Kaysar up and Kaysar quickly agreed.
I never heard Kaysar pause and say “only if you don’t participate in the Veto competition” and THEN said yes. He said yes right away!
Besides… when you are HOH, the HOH has no choice but to participate you idiot!
And don’t say you meant Kayar’s HOH week either cuz Eric sat on the sidelines watching the chessboard veto comp. That’s how he got backdoored!

Yes… Janelle did the best in comps and worked harder. I’ll give credit where credit is due.
But Maggie is the tortoise and Janelle is the hare. Janelle is faster and more fit, but slow and steady wins the race.
Maggie didn’t talk crap out in the open like people on both sides did, which made them targets for the other side.
Score one for Maggie.
Maggie kept her emotional pokerface on while other people on both sides either went into verbal outbursts or emotional breakdowns of crying.
Another score for Maggie.
Maggie booted Kaysar, the OC’s leader and still managed to stay in the house.
Another score for Maggie.
Maggie manipulated people into doing all the dirty work for her while keeping her own hands clean and safe. Like a brillant tactician or general of an army.
The house is a chessboard and the pieces are pawns. She played like a master chessplayer with all the puppet strings.
Like Elton John said in the song, Someone Saved My Life Tonight…… “Just a pawn out-played by a dominating queen”

Like the saying goes in the stockmarket…. Do you want to work hard for your money or would you rather sit back and let your money work hard for you? I know what most people would do given a choice.

You can try and sugarcoat the wounds of defeat with the silly talk of the OC’s so-called “moral” victory in a game that has always been about lying and backstabbing. Big brother is about winning money and not about scoring moral victories or a popularity contest. Two friendship members are winning the money and that’s all I was rooting for. Ivette knew she was likely to get the $500,000. But she put the friendship over money and made sure Janelle would not walk away with a dime more then she had already won in prizes.
And after America’s choice always choosing Janelle, Ivtte got her revenge and sent Janelle packing.

Ivette will be hard pressed to get more than $50,000 out of this even though Maggie shouldn’t get any of the money either considering all of her catty & disgusting comments this season.
Janelle may be not win the $500,000 but I would venture to say she will end up with more out of this in the long run than either of the two remaining nerds.
Kaysar already has a guest role on the Young & The Restless. Can’t imagine that happening for any of the “Friends”.

You guys having a reality break or what? You have been going on and on about how Janelle won fair and square and the minute she screwed it up you accuse the BB producers of fixing the game. The exact same complaint made by the pro-Maggie and Yvette factions a couple of weeks ago.
You guys all need to shut down your computers, turn off your tv’s and go the hell out of doors and get some fresh air; your collective brains are turning to mush.
Here’s a clue: it’s a television show for crying out loud. It isn’t a contest, never was, people don’t win the right to participate they are Cast by the producers to fill specific roles.
Jeez; I’ll bet the farm that you guys really think that the Hortons and Bradys from Days of our Lives are real people.
Your favorite contestant lost; big deal. Your life will continue and the sum will come up tomorrow.
One more thing you should not pretend to speak for all of the shows fans. Many people who tried to post pro friendship were literally harassed off of most forms and fan sites. Some people don’t bother with computers, chat rooms, and forums. Some people actually realize that it is just a television show.

Ape is going to get what she deserves when she again enters reality after being in isolated sequester. She will get what she deserves for bashing americans with her whitetrash words. I don’t think I have seen worse comments anywhere. You all sound like the guests in the BB6 house. The bad language isn’t at all necessary, unless you are smart enouch to use regular English to express yourselves. Excuse me the few who kept it clean and expressed a short concise post.
To the others I say, get a life – it isn’t a reality show – it is just a tv show, claiming to be reality; like all the other so called “Reality Shows”.
Sure I saw a lot of HOH and Veto Power rigged contests, BB6 is playing for drama and viewership. I will not be in the viewship any more.

Like I have been saying for several weeks now, no matter what the fans of Janelle, Howie, Kaysar and company say, the bottom line is they were outplayed, outsmarted and outmanuevered. That is obvious by the fact that there is not a single member of their alliance left. Spin it how ever you want, but they were outplayed, and it was such a great moment in this season’s show when Janelle had to watch Ivette kick her ass out the door. (bye bye bitch!) That was incredible.
Now it will be interesting to see who wins the grand prize, but regardless, at least Janelle isn’t going to!!!

true, but i think April, Jen, and Beau are also realizing they were outmaneuvered as well. how else can you explain the tough jury questioning from them towards their “friends”. if big brother was a team contest, then i guess the “friendship” won. but it’s not! how the game shifted towards alliances was stupid. do you really think April, Jen, and Beau are in the jury house thinking, “well, i’m going home empty handed, but at least one of my teammates isn’t.” obviously, they aren’t.

I read some of the posts here and I have to admit that I’m really confused. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the whole idea to win the money. What is all this talk about integrity, honesty and a bunch of other adjectives that really don’t have any place in this game. I’m sure the producers would not be very pleased if all the contestants spent their time being sweet and honest with one another. It’s a lot of money, do what you have to do. Some of you guys are the worst players I have ever seen. The Janelle-Kaysar faction lost? Big damned deal; get over it. If this had been survivor they would have gotten the boot long ago.
A couple of the players, the name Kaysar and Eric come to mind, forgot to fly below the radar. They showed their prowess too early. They screwed up and they got the boot.
Janelle played a good game but lost a vital challenge. By the way they were both over on the HOH challenge but Ivette was closer to the number.

i’m fascinated by the emotions of viewers over BB6. i personally think this season sucked compared to others. the game should always be about personalities, not two alliances going after each other. kaysar started it, but the other group made it worse with their obsession over Eric. the ratings for the show are horrible and i have to wonder if this is the last season. let’s hope.

Let’s disregard the details of the horrific behavior we have witnessed from some of these people. It’s usually very difficult for me to stop feeling sorry for people exhibiting this kind of behavior and actually start despising them, but I too got caught up in it at times.

They have handed to the world on a silver platter their most fiercely protected truth, and as a result they have reconfigured an unimaginably far worse place to live outside the BB house than the one they inhabited before they entered. And the most fascinating part of it all is: no one else’s behavior or comments were necessary or responsible for this public exposure. Their own misguided greed and evil blinded them and they masterminded their own demise. And to their worst possible fears have allowed a national audience to witness it (very rare). I wish no one a life in their new world!
The Universe at it’s best keeping humanity in check. And I didn’t even need to name names. I hope this post calms some nerves, it did mine.

How dare you presume that to be Quebecois is to be French only.
I assure you, my dears, that mine is not the only bilingual home in Quebec. But you should know that.
As for BB-I believe that they are all losers. But Maggie definately played the better game. She spent the entire game in the exercise room instigating and flying below the radar until enough of the opponents in both alliances were gone. She won Ivette’s favor by throwing competitions that she did not need to win.
I, also, would have liked to have the final pair be Janelle and just about anybody else. I lost my favorite player when Howie went bye-bye. The player I despise the most is April-she was your standard BB player-a lying, foul mouthed, backstabbing bitch from Hell-sounds like a big brother champion.
Also, if I read the site correctly BB is casting for BB7.

To Quebecois: As I know it, it’s only French Canada that #1 would like to separate from Canada and #2 who hates the USA. The rest of Canada loves us and many of us Staters consider MOST of Canada to be our brother-sister country.
The people on the WEST side of Canada are THE BEST. The people in French Quebec Canada continue to hate us. It’s truly offensive.
Meanwhile, I married a true Frenchman who states that your French language is NOTHING like the TRUE French language of France and when he came to the US, he couldn’t understand the French Canadian language. *L*

I live in Maine and I keep hoping that this state will leave the Union and join up with Quebec to form our own little country.
Most people in the US think that the US ends in Boston despite the fact that our family has been here since the 1600′s.
A lot of Mainers are descended from the French Canadien who stopped through here on their way to Louisiana.
It isn’t that we dislike the rest of the US-we just don’t rally have anything in common with you. You use our state for Vacations and treat those of us who live here terribly. When you are packing up your summer gear to go back to your better climates we are all busy prepping for the long hard winter to come-and come it will-it aalways does.
Glad Maggie won-she played a good game. Kaysar still has the meanest looking eyes I have ever seen. Janelle lost it when it was vital to win. I don’t hate them, I don,t know them(all of the HGs),I don’t anything them. YOu guys need to settle down and watch Survivor..Margaret looks good to run the course!
One final thought: we get along quite well with Quebecers here because they treat us normally.

Dirigo – most of my family is from New England – Connecticut to be exact….I went to camp in the White Mountains for years and we kept the areas very clean. It’s all on how you’re raised.
Your complaints *seem* to be a seasonal one. Well some of us live in seasonal areas also where we too are DEPENDENT ON TOURISM – you can complain about the tourists and the seasons while you have to shore up all to get ready for winter, but without their $$ ?? Go ahead and join up please with Quebec – the canadian dollar is down, down – We get like $1.25 for the US dollar in Canada….
like i said – don’t knock the tourists if your area depends on tourism…ya cannot have yer cake and eat it too.

If you are planning on coming up here leaf peeping you should check out the Sebago Lake areas. Some truly spectacular displays
But please, I beg you, remember that we all really like and welcome you here but try to treat us the way you want to be treated in your homestate.
Once you do that you will find that although you can’t get there from here and every thing is up the road apiece we can be pretty articulate and friendly.
Please feel free to laugh at the local bumperstickers that say; Why do they call it tourist season if you can’t shoot him.
Oh yeah about BB-thought it was rigged when my favorites screwed up;thought that it was played fair when the other side screwed up-remembered it was a game-and am happy for Maggie and sad for all of the others.

Vancouver is pretty, however the people there are hardly canadien sorry, they are mostly oriental that just got off the boat. and it rains all the time, very depressing. Calgary is a big redneck town with cowboys and indians, weather also not to good. French canadiens do not want seperation, they want to be distinct, and that is why you see the canadien flag raised with Quebec along side of it as it is the only french speaking province with different political issues. Quebec is the most progressive province in canada and has helped canadiens out tremendously when it comes to work related issues especially. Quebecer’s always fight to the death when they want something. As for Alberta they are a$$ backwards and think they are the almighty province, I know i have many relative s there. The east is where it is at from nfld to ontario, then its blaa, like what happened to the people? lol! I do think the mountains are beautiful, but who want s to live with all that kind of wild life. the east is known for its good food, friendly people and beautiful senary. And a lot of french people in the east besides Quebec. I am not from Quebec but i do know there is much ignorance going on when it comes to Quebec. Ever notice we always have a french priminister? And yes Canadien french is of course different from france french, oh well. And if there was a true Quebecer on this forom they would know what TABERNAC means.

Well I am satisfied that Maggie won even if I don’t like the terrible things she has said about poor people, the unemployed, the whole hospitality services. Ivette lost all of my original affections for her when she and Beau started on Rachel. Then the kiss off speech to Rachel from Ivette was over the top. CANT STAND Ivette so Maggie won, that was the only reason I wanted Ivette to lose.

Wow – thought I was the only one who felt Maggie should win because Ivette did not deserve to. This years BB provided a bbumper crop of losers and idiots.
Survivor Guatemala looks to be a really good one. Can’t believe that the idiot who got voted off first voted against the nurse who helped him. Must have been a fan of BB and got paranoid about nurses.
I actually like Martha Stewart and Donald Trump. With a little bit of Amazing Race thrown into the stew pot looks to be some good viewing for me. And of course I am addicted to Ghost Hunters.

The last I knew if you did not win the game(and Kaysar, Howie, Rachel, and yes, Janelle did NOT)then you LOST the game.
