During the reality TV show Rock Star: INXS, the band INXS selected J.D. Fortune to be their new lead singer.  INXS recently announced their first world tour with J.D. Fortune would be starting in early 2006.  The INXS “Switched On” tour is scheduled to start in Vancouver, BC on January 18, 2006.  Tickets will go on sale to the public on the weekend of October 15, 2005, but INXS fan club members will get the opportunity to buy tickets earlier that week.

"The TV show ‘Rock Star: INXS’ generated millions of new INXS fans across North America and there is a great deal of excitement to see the band perform live once again," says John Scher, Co-CEO of Metropolitan Talent Presents.  "Years of touring have earned INXS a massive reputation as a great live band.  I have no doubt that this will be a memorable tour."

INXS also recently released the hot new single "Pretty Vegas" and are currently working on a new album entitled SWITCH, which is due in stores November 29th.  Over the course of their 25-year-career, INXS has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and performed over 4,000 live shows for more than 25 million people in almost 50 countries.

I sure hope JD Fortune will not be performing the Elvis finger diddle when he sings. (my god man; it looked on TV like you were fishing for buggers the size of gold nuggets.)

I will try to catch a show however, I do not hold out much hope there will be NEW success with INXS.

From the schedule I can see INXS is headed for lounge lizard fame. Read this to say this is the last time they will ever play the Mandalay Bay Events Center and the next time they roll into Vegas they will more likely play “Brendan’s Irish Pub” at The Orleans Hotel & Casino. The deck is stacked in my favor at least 1/3 of the venues are at the local pow-wow lodge. Me see not much wampum in their future.

I hope that fat Ferris Brother gets the call from Jenny Craig when they are in Pala Cali.

I think Brooke Burke should be replaced with Jessica Alba if they do another Rockstar series. Brooke is such a joke and boring. Jessica is much better looking and has a great smile.
