Jim Bozzini Leads On The Apprentice Martha Stewart

October 25, 2005 11:03 PM by Joe Blackmon

After narrowly escaping last week’s firing, Martha Stewart challenges Jim to become the project manager for the next task on NBC’s "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" as candidates compete to raise money for The Beneful Celebrity Dog Auction (October 26, 9-10 pm ET). Stewart surprises the candidates with an impromptu trip to the loft and while there asks Jim, "You have not been a project manager yet, are you ready for a project?" Jim readily accepts the challenge. Stewart chides, "It might be mutiny on the part of your team!"

Creator and executive producer Mark Burnett adds, "Much like Shakespeare’s Iago, Jim seems nutty enough not to be a threat in the short term, but in the long term, his calculated razor sharp mind intimidates the competition."

Each team will meet with four celebrities and their dogs, including Chad Pennington, Susan Luci, Fran Drescher and John Lithgow, among others to create a personal experience to be auctioned off during the Beneful Celebrity Dog Auction. Proceeds help raise money for the charity "Broadway Barks," which is devoted to helping homeless dogs and provides funds for New York dog shelters. The team that raises the most money wins.

"MATCHSTICK" (Creatives): Ryan, Dawna, Amanda, Leslie, David, Marcela

"PRIMARIUS" (Corporate): Howie, Sarah, Carrie, Bethenny, Jim

"The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" is produced by Mark Burnett Productions. Mark Burnett, Jay Bienstock and Donald J. Trump are executive producers. Conrad Riggs and Kevin Harris are co-executive producers.

The rumor is that Jim, on the M. Stewart apprentice show, is nothing more than a planted actor. He is there to apparently add some much needed interest to the show. Lets face it, Martha does not shy away from attempting to dupe the general public if it suits her. Nobody coupld be as obnoxious as this guy in real life. And what of the participants in the show that are playing for real? Is it fair to them that this phony gets by week after week ruining their chances. Just who the heck would want to work for this organiztion in the first place? I’d better stop now. I certainly don’t want Martha to lose her patience. Hey Martha, any good stock tips?

Jim is a goofball. And a quasar in the sense that he has an occasional intelligence. He’s desperate, that’s why he’s so kooky. He has the best potential though. If he can be trained, he’s a freakin dynamo!

    Dear Jim,

you can win this thing if you show your learning to play the game. as in , sure your a nut, but ya gotta fake sane till ya make it, right?

I just don’t understand why Jim is still on the show I’ve been waiting for him to get kicked off since the first show.

maybe Martha has a *thing* for Jim (just as Carolyn Kepchner had for Bill Rancic on Trump’s Apprentice a couple of seasons ago)?!

i personally do not care if he’s a “planted” actor or not. he’s the only reason the show is even slightly entertaining.
