Reality TV Magazine reported back in early October that Bo Bice’s album had a tentative release date of November 29, 2005. However, a recent Billboard.com article reports that his yet untitled album is now set for a December 13, 2005 release date, still in plenty of time to be the perfect holiday stocking stuffer.
Billboard.com also reports that songs for the album have been submitted by by Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora in collaboration with producer John Shanks, Desmond Child and Marty Frederiksen. There is no official information though if all of these songs made the album. A mention is also made of two Hurricane inspired songs by Bo and his band called "We Can’t Change This World" and "Changing for the Better,” but there is also no official word on if they will make the album.
For those Bo Bice fans that just can’t wait until December 13, there is another Bo Bice CD appearance that they can pick up on November 1. Bo Bice performs “Brown Skin Girl” with Santana on their new “All That I Am” CD. The November 1 release date of the album also happens to be Bo Bice’s 30th birthday.
Bo Bice has also been nominated for another award. Earlier this year, Bo received a “Relly Award” for favorite reality contestant form the Regis & Kelly show. Bo is now up for Big Reality Star in the VH1 Big in ’05 Awards. Viewers can vote for each category online at http://www.votebig.vh1.com from October 26 to November 16. The winners will be announced on a show airing Sunday, December 4 at 8PM ET.
In addition, Bo Bice is also in a poll on NBC’s Toyota Summer Concert Series website. The poll asks fans to vote for their favorite Summer performer, and Bo Bice is currently leading the poll by a wide margin.
