Ted Nugent Says He’s High On Freedom & Alive On Death

November 19, 2005 11:47 PM by Joe Blackmon

Carl_ted_nugentOn this week’s Wanted: Ted or Alive, a freshly shaved Carl gets to go hunting with Ted Nugent.  While Carl is away hunting, Big Jim assigns chores for the rest of the contestants.  Carl takes a shot at a deer and drops it with a single bullet.  After the kill, Carl and Ted share an emotional moment.

All the contestants take part in skinning the deer with Nugent, which makes Charlotte uneasy.  Carl says “I hate the site of blood.  I don’t like the site of guts, but like the way Ted explained everything and just the total passion he had for it like I fed off of that energy.”  After completing the deer skinning, Nugent declares “I’m high on freedom.  I’m alive on death.”

In the easiest challenge ever, Ted Nugent asks the contestants to vote for who should receive $5,000.  Carl wins the vote, which puts him in the lead in the competition.  Still uneasy over the deer skinning, Charlotte tells Nugent that she doesn’t want to stay anymore, and she leaves the competition.  That night, several of the contestants decide to run naked together in the woods.

For the second challenge, Nugent offers a $1,000 and fresh bacon to the contestant who can catch and carry a pig through a maze the fastest.  Shannon wins the pig maze competition, and all the contestants get to bath in a lake to wash off the smell of pig.

For the third challenge, Nugent turns each of the contestants into human scarecrows.  The contestants have to stand on a crucifix type post, and the contestant who remains standing the longest wins $5,000.  All four contestants are still in the competition when the show ends.  The next episode of Wanted: Ted or Alive airs on OLN at 10P.M. ET on Saturday, November 26, 2005.

They remind me of those two guys who did the shootings at Columbine Highschool.

I don’t know how anyone could have fun shooting a deer.

Looks like you prefer to pay others to do your killing for you Sammie. I love this show. Ted is very energetic to the point of being psychotic. Very entertaining and watching the contestants begin to understand Uncle Ted’s teachings is fascinating.
