Kimberly Stewart & Talan Torriero Add To Thanksgiving Day Weekend Break-ups

In what has to be the most shocking reality TV couple break-up since Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey announced their separation four days ago, Kimberly Stewart and Talan Torriero have now joined the Thanksgiving Day weekend splitsville parade. What is normally considered a holiday for spending time with family and enjoying festive meals is quickly becoming the season to announce the end of celebrity relationships.
Talan Torriero is one of the stars of MTV’s reality TV series Laguna Beach. While Kimberly Stewart is most famous for being the daughter of musician Rod Stewart, she is also pals with The Simple Life star Paris Hilton. Before The Simple Life was canceled by Fox, it was even rumored that Kimberly Stewart would replace Nicole Richie on the show.
While Nick and Jessica made it through three years of marriage, Kimberly Stewart and Talan Torriero barely made it through ten days of being engaged. The couple had also only dated for a short time before they became engaged. A joint statement from their publicists stated, "It was just too soon to enter into a lifelong commitment. It is better to have a brief engagement than a short marriage. The couple continue to share their time together and remain open to whatever the future may hold."
