2005 Billboard Music Awards – Kelly Clarkson, Bo Bice, Carrie Underwood, & Fantasia Up For Awards

The 2005 Billboard Music Awards (Tuesday, Dec. 6, 8:00-10:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) recognizes the year’s leading artists and songs as determined by actual performance on Billboard’s weekly charts. The show celebrates the record-buying, Internet-downloading and radio-listening public’s favorite songs, albums and performers, creating a true souvenir of the year in music.
American Idol 1 Winner Kelly Clarkson and American Idol 3 Winner Fantasia are up for numerous awards. American Idol 5 Winner Carrie Underwood and American Idol 5 Runner-up Bo Bice are both up for “Top Selling Single of the Year.” Carrie Underwood is scheduled to perform, and Bo Bice is also listed as a participant.
