Dancing With The Stars – George Hamilton Says Goodbye

February 11, 2006 12:05 AM by Joe Blackmon

George_edytaDancing with the Stars has followed a fairly predictable path since the shocking (and some say long overdue) elimination of Master P.  Everyone at this point knows that the finale is going to be a showdown between couples Stacy Keibler & Tony Dovolani and Drew Lachey & Cheryl Burke.  The only surprise could be that Jerry Rice & Anna Trebunskaya do have an outside chance because of their popularity in the viewer vote.  However, if Jerry Rice appears to be getting close to pulling an upset then the judges will probably give him zeroes to keep him from interfering with their dream showdown between Stacy Keibler and Drew Lachey.

Despite Stacy & Tony and Drew & Cheryl being awarded perfect scores by the judges, Lisa Rinna & Louis Van Amstel are awarded the encore dance as the couple that surprised them the most.  Natasha Bedingfield performs her single “Unwritten,” and Bill Medley and his daughter McKenna perform “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life.”

The judges talk about who surprised them the most during the performance show.  Bruno Tonioli chooses Stacy Keibler and talks about her “assets.”  Len Goodman chooses Lisa Rinna saying she flew around like a butterfly.  Carrie Ann Inaba chooses Jerry Rice and praises the commitment, power, and passion that he brought to the dance floor.

The first two couples that get let off the hook and are told that they are continuing to the next round are Jerry & Anna and Drew & Cheryl.  The next couple to be announced as safe is Stacy & Tony.  Lisa & Louis and George & Edyta are the two couples with the lowest total scores.  In no surprise, George Hamilton & Edyta Sliwinska are eliminated.  Before leaving George Hamilton asks his fan base to throw their support behind “his future wife” Stacy Keibler.

I was so sorry to see George go. He is such a class act, and very fun to watch. Give the guy credit, he’s 66 years old, with bad knees. But he tried hard. I will not however give my votes to that low classed slut. She is a disgrace to the show. Sexy is fine, look at Lisa Rinna. But the Amazon Whore is pure trash. She shouldn’t even be on the show, since professional dancers aren’t allowed. But boy, the made an allowance for her so they could capture a young male audience. She dances like a stripper, and I won’t let my daughter watch her.

George was fun to watch, but we all knew he was going to leave anyway. Stacy will win. It’s very obvious. And it would surprise me if she doesn’t. She should be in other type of tv shows. Not this one. This one is for decent people. She makes dancing look sexual, not sensual.

Again, please gain some knowledge on dance before you think you can judge. Lisa is the one slutting it up, and her numerous fake body parts should be your first sign. Stacy is gorgeous, elegant, and classy. It seems the female fan base is experiencing some jealousy – be honest with yourselves. Drew is also talented, but you don’t seem to metion his great build – doesn’t that strike you as incongruent? Jerry Rice is the most respectable competitor, and deserves the “Runner Up” spot, behind a tie between Stacy and Drew. If you know ANYTHING about dancing, you’d know that it is unfair to compare a male student to a male teacher. The fact that most viewers are oblivious to this fact just proves how well Drew really is doing. And all you couch-potato critics ought to get off your butts and try to do just ONE of the dances they’ve done – you’ll gain some respect and hopefully stop voting for the screeching-collagen-lipped-anorexic bimbo.

Stacy is graceful and gorgeous! She deserves to win. I only wish I had her legs and figure, which are a big asset for her. The women making disparanging remarks about her are just jealous. She performs beautifully and accurately. If she was dancing sexy that’s what was required. She out shines all her competition, except Drew. He is cute, talented, and sexy too. It is hard to choose between them, since each has a different role to perform. How can you compare an apple with an orange? They are both delicious and nutritious! Goodluck to you both.

I’m not jealous of Stacy because I’m a guy. The only thing I don’t like about Stacy is her hipocrisy. We all know she’s using her body to take advantage. Let her. Who cares, but she acts as if she didn’t and that’s what I hate. Have you seen her on WWE? That’s the REAL her.

  6. Sherley Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 4:27 am

    To the “expert”

Just because some people have different opinions doesn’t make them jealous. Stacy is doing great and so is Drew and the rest of the contestants;however, I think having decensy is also a requirement. When the show began Stacy wore sexy clothes. Back then she looked decent and her dancing was good. But the more she progressed with her dancing she started to forget about her clothing. I know other female contestants, like Lisa have wore “slutty” clothes, but it’s different when you wear those clothes in every episode. It says a lot about the person when they pick their dance. Stacy chose this week’s dance because it was fun and it showed the REAL her. She’s “fun” and we all know what that also means. What about her dance ending on the judge’s table? Right in between the two men judges? That’s why a lot of people are thinking she’s using her body to take advantage, when she should be using her dancing to take advantage. Let’s not forget she has a huge dancing background. I just think Stacy went too far. I think the ones who deserve a fair winning are Drew&Cheryl because they’re competing fairly. Even if the dance is sexy, there should be a bit of discression. Even kids wath this show! We should set a good example. Have you seen today’s perfomance by those students? Let’s face it, those would deserve a 30 out of 30 and Stacy wasn’t even close to them. This week she wasn’t coordinated with her partner and so therefore she didn’t deserve that score. And that’s what’s so controversial. Not because people are jealous. It’s because the facts are on the tv and it’s a lot of people including males who have noticed that.

I agree, she should use her dancing and not her body. I can’t really think of a dance where you don’t use your body. Can u guyz help!?

  8. Jim Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 6:02 am

I hope that people who appreciate Drew’s performances will call and vote for him next week, because I feel like the show is trying to get rid of him. They know that Lisa will get a lot of new votes next week since her fans know she was almost eliminated. Jerry has tons of fans. And last night we had George Hamilton *begging* and *pleading* viewers to keep Stacy around. Stacy also mentioned how important it was to vote. When the judges praised the previous episode’s performances, they didn’t mention Drew or George, and George was eliminated that night.

The show would probably be happy if Stacy, who is some kind of a goddess to them, or Jerry, the big football star, win. They know Lisa probably won’t win. So they probably want her in the final 3 instead of Drew.

I really do think they are trying to get him out. The way they show so much favoritism to Stacy as the competition winds down seems like an effort to marginalize him further and further.

In my opinion, Lisa Rinna is the one who is “most improved”. She pulls off the hard stunts and has fun doing it.

Jerry Rice seems like a nice guy, but his dancing reminds me of when a 10 year old boy takes “cotillion” and tries to move his legs up and down to the music.

Drew is impressive and, IMHO, deserves to win with Lisa Rinna coming in a close second. Stacy shouldn’t even have been allowed on the show – I heard that she is a TRAINED ballerina!!

And, I can’t believe that the same audience that voted J. Peterman (or whatever his name is) the winner of the first version would vote George Hamilton off so quickly – their performances were very similar – all mugging for the camera and no real dancing!

  10. John Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 7:47 am

To all those who think Stacy is non-deserving of her success. What a bunch of hypocrites. The woman can’t help the way she looks! She isn’t wearing costumes that are any more revealing than the other women dancers on the show. Her moves aren’t any more suggestive than those of the other woemen. What’s your problem? She dances well and anyone who knows ANYTHING about dancing knows that the woman is the flash and the man is the base. The woman always has a harder job because she ALWAYS is the display of the dance! In a head to head with Drew with no errors she will win on merrit alone, looks won’t hurt either! I would rather look at her than at him!

  11. C Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 9:05 am

Above: to quote you ” and anyone who knows ANYTHING about dancing knows that the woman is the flash and the man is the base.” …. THIS is why Drew should win – !

Stacy dances well and yes .. she’s pretty but she is a trained dancer AND it is LESS difficult to dance with a professional male base guiding you. Drew is the excellent ‘base’ on his team – his footwork is excellent (if you are watching) and he cannot wear pink flash or jump his behind up in front of the judges as Stacy does … duh.

If all if us agreed with each other, wouldn’t the world be a boring place?

Each and every one of us has our own opinions. And each and every one believes that our opinion is right. And each one is right.

I say…keep watching “Dancing with the Stars”. Keep voting. And just enjoy the show. It’s not a life or death matter. It’s just supposed to be FUN. Think about this…is this show series going to matter in 3 years?

    One last comment.

“Dancing with the Stars” has met its goals…getting people to watch the ABC Television Network, getting people talking about the show, and getting interested in dance.

Again, keep watching, keep voting and most of all…keep commenting. WE are what makes the world go around!

My applause to all who have taken the time to comment…it means you care! Good work!

I am amazed at how well all the dancers do each week having to learn so much! They are incredible. However, I think the judges give WAY too much in the way of kudos to Lisa for some reason, and were downright cruel to Master P. BUT they are entitled to their opinion. Unfortunately their opinion sets tne tone for the callers at home. I was sorry to see George go, he added an element of entertainment, charm, and charisma , much like John O’ Hurley. As much as I really like the host Tom, i’d like to see him have co hosts each week like George H, or John O Hurley to add a bit or older charm to the floor. He doesnt need the girl who is with him. The net work thinks she is adding something, all we can figure out is she is adding her mommy bags, which we arent interested in sseeing. All in all though the show is a breath of fresh air and it is nice to watch something on the tube that is up beat. :-)

  15. Allison Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 10:10 am

I agree that Stacy has an unfair advantage on this show. I danced competitevly for 11 years. I can safely say that Stacy looks good because she’s done this before. She was in dance classes growing up, and she was a professional cheerleader. She looks good because of the way she holds her body. You can’t learn how to do that in a few weeks. It takes years of training (which she has). Yes, Drew did dance with 98 degrees, but that is nothing compared to years of formal dancing. I also didn’t like the way that ABC presented the video clips of their behind the scene footage. The two biggest moments they chose to present was Lisa breaking down, and Stacy with the troops. They presented her in the best possible lights, and Lisa very negatively. I’m sure some of her votes were made because she and her partener went and supported the troops. I’m not saying that this is a bad thing, I think that it is wonderful what they did, but ABC showed certain clips that obviously manipulated the viewer’s decision, and had little to do with their dance skills.

  16. John Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 10:35 am

    To: C

Why do you think that Stacy is a “Trained” dancer? Because she took Tap and Ballet as a child? That is CRAP!

    To: Allison

Same to you! So Stacy was a Professional Cheer Leader. So what? Both Drew and Stacy have had training. So what? “She looks good because of the way she holds her body. You can’t learn how to do that in a few weeks. It takes years of training (which she has). Yes, Drew did dance with 98 degrees, but that is nothing compared to years of formal dancing.”

So what’s your point? Are you saying Stacy dances better than Drew because she dances better? That she dances better because she is better at it because she has danced before?

She is NOT a professional dancer and the only advantage she has is THAT SHE DANCES BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER CONTESTANTS!!!

The best dancer should win and from what you have stated that should be Stacy.

If you don’t like the way ABC presented the behind the scenes activities take it up with them. The activities and presentation isn’t Stacy’s fault. I’m sure it wasn’t her idea to go see the
troops! Don’t you think that ABC solicited her to be on the show for a reason?

  17. Nancy Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 11:00 am

Stacy seems like a lovely person & she certainly is a terrific dancer. The backlash against her is because her years of dance experience enabled her to earn perfect 10′s in week two, while everyone else was still struggling. Most of the audience wants to root for an underdog; we want to see really inexperienced people clomp around the stage during the first few weeks (like WE certainly would) and then, through concerted effort, get better. With Stacy, the game was over before anyone else had a chance to get good, which was a huge letdown.

We also want to see the judges score the contestants on their dance moves, not on their sexuality. No matter how hard the other contestants work, they’re never going to be tall, blond, with 42 inch legs. They’re not going to give Bruno a woody. And, sadly, that’s what the male judge’s “bottom line” seems to have turned into.

  18. Nancy Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 11:13 am

Opinions, we are all entititled. Why can’t the viewing public just enjoy some good and bad dancing and a little competition. Stacey is great, Drew is great, Lisa is great, Jerry is great, etc in their own way. Sit back, watch and enjoy.

  19. John Says:

I agree with those who have said, “Enjoy the show.” There is so much trash on TV that this show is a wonderful breath of fresh air. Dancing with the Stars is directly responsible for generating a revival of a great form of exercise and recreation, not to mention the competion. It has gotten my husband and I off our butts and out onto the dance floor. We’re taking lessons, learning and becoming reacquainted with muscles we had forgotten we every had. This is hard work, but so enjoyable and rewarding in many healthy ways.
We too are sorry to see George Hamilton go. He is a fantastic entertainer, very classy guy. Lets see some of you folks dance with bad knees. As far as Stacy goes, she is doing splendidly as is Drew. Lisa had made huge improvements and I’m excited for her. This is a huge personal accomplishment. She’s in her forties with kids, not an easy task here folks. The same is true for Jerry, a former football player doesn’t prepare you to dance, except help you understand the principle of training and stamina.
So all you complaining couch-potatoes just cut the gripping and get yourselves to the dance studio and find out what’s really involved in ballroom dancing. Then maybe I’ll be seeing some of you on the dance floor. By the way, I’m voting for Ballroom dancing to be in the Winter Olympics (since its done inside and there are already too many events in the Summer Games)

  21. Allison Says:

    To John:
I’m not lashing out against Stacy personally. It’s not like she’s you sister. I’m mad at ABC. It’s not Stacy’s fault any of this is happening. I’m sure that she didn’t ask to be on this show. I’m sure she also doesn’t make the decisions about her costumes, dance moves, or music. Listen to Nancy. She puts it perfectly how unfair the competition is. And I can speak from experience when I say that being in dance class as a child enhances your performance as an adult. That’s why they start professional dancers at 3 and 4 years old.

  22. Cameron Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 12:09 pm

There’s some interesting debate going on here.

I’m just going to point something out here that I feel is key. I’m not entirely certain of Stacy’s background, so I could be wrong.

A professional dancer is someone who makes a living off of dancing. It is their profession. To my knowledge, Stacy is a WWE wrestler. If this is her job, and her main source of income, she’s a professional wrestler. She danced for a long time, probably out of sport or out of hobby. She recieved professional training and was probably able to dance at a professional level. This however does not make her a professional dancer. Again, being a professional dancer is dictated by your job. Her job is a wrestler, not a dancer.

I do think that ABC made a mistake by having someone compete with years of training and experience. Granted she’s not a professional dancer, she might as well be.

Bottom line worth remembering, this is a produced TV show heavily edited by ABC. ABC controls who wears what, who dances to what, who partners with who etc etc. It is a highly manufactured product. I’m sorry to say that this is not reality TV, even if it’s live. This show is designed to get viewers and bring up ratings. ABC knows what it’s doing, it knows who the public likes and they play on it. This is obvious from the spotlight that is being shined on Stacy. Lisa is an excellent dancer who just isn’t given the right materials she needs to meet or exceed Stacy.

I think Allison has an excellent point. I am currently dating a dancer of 10 years who has the same feelings. She gets irritated with the way the public views dancers and lacks respect for their abilities. Stacy is given an unfair advantage that ABC is well aware of. It’s the name of the game. TV shows, as I said, are products (hence why they’re produced) designed to help their parent companies profit.

  23. Andrea Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 2:44 pm

My fave contestants are Drew & Cheryl. They’re doing great! So is Stacy. Whether or not she has an unfair advantage doesn’t matter because it will not change the show. Whatever happens will happen after the show ends and once a winner gets the title and the trophie they can’t take it away from them. I’m sure after the show ends facts will start to come out. They mean by not having a dancing background that the contestants haven’t taken any professional classes. Stacy might not be a pro dancer, but she does have a huge dancing background, which makes it a bit unfair because she has more experience so it’s “easier” for her to get the moves. THAT’S what’s unfair. Don’t mind the clothing people. If you think it’s wrong, then just leave it that way because it’s not your reputation that’s in jeopardy.

Also, just because Stacy is not my favorite and I have my opinions about her doesn’t mean I’m a couch potato. Because if you are going to judge that way, then I guess I can say that if you don’t like the ones I like then that makes you a couch potato. Keep in mind some people are naturally gifted and it’s easy for them to learn all of those moves. I learned Samba in a day. Ballet took me longer.

  24. Tom Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 4:08 pm

Stacy is a sleaze bag. She’d be fun to date, but not the kind of girl to take seriously or home to mom. She’s pure trash. Trying to disguise herself as a “lady”. Look at all the nude photos of her on the internet. Slut, slut, slut!

  25. Charles Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 4:30 pm

Stacy is a good dancer because she has taken dancing lessons before. Do you people think she isn’t selling herself? PLEASE. Look at her latest photoshoots. She’s a WWE girl so she’s a slut. She needs to stop being a hypocrite. She acts all classy as if she was all Saint and Holy, when she isn’t. Her body is great, but she isn’t for this type of competition. She better at least be more honest.

  26. Catherine Penn Says:
    February 11th, 2006 at 4:31 pm

Ok, Stacy is beautiful. Am I jealous of her looks? Of course! Do I want a body like hers? Yes! Although I seriously wouldn’t want to be that tall. But, I don’t hate her because she’s beautiful. I hate her because she is making women look bad. Using sex to get a dumb metal trophy is disgraceful. Jerry and george weren’t shaking their butts and flashing the male judges. And that’s the reason they won’t win. Poor Drew, who is great, can’t compete with sluttiness. Nor should he have to. The network will make sure she wins, regardless of viewer voting. Most people I know had never even heard of her before this show. She will unfairly win, probably because she used her”assests” with the producers!

What a bunch of jealous you know whats. Every week I hear the same things including from my house that Stacey should break a leg. Why because shes hot? Or no wait, thats right its because she took ballot as a kid, sorry I forgot. She dances just as good if not better than anyone on the show. PERIOD. I have heard the judges state more than once that they though Stacey would have difficulties in certain dances because of her long legs, and she still did a great job. And every week EVERY CONTESTANT has to learn a NEW dance. I want to see were is states the Stacey has already had professional instructions on all these dances. Anyone? The way everyone talks is like Shaquille ONeil could be Baseballs MVP because hes a professional athlete. Maybe we are watching different shows but I havnt seen any ballot yet. Anyway everyone should just lay of Stacey and face it She can dance, Big Deal. If you ask me Jerry is my favorite because I am a huge football fan and hes has some big u know whats to get on stage and dance for everyone, but I still vote for Stacey and Drew because -BOTTOM LINE- They are clearly the Best dancers on stage with Lisa following VERY closely in third. Sorry Jerry, I luv ya but you should of left off with football.

Seriously, Amazon Whore…you should be ashamed of yourself for saying that. There is a lot worse things in this world that people can see on television. I’m a young women who is happily married with three beautiful children and my daughter loves the show. Grow up people…..get a life. If you don’t like what you see stop your b@#ching and moaning and just don’t watch.

Then I hope your three beautiful children aren’t watching Stacy and grow up thinking that women are objects of lust, and to gain respect you must wear sleazy clothes and flash your bum at the judges and then sit right between them. She’s a bad example for girls and boys. I don’t let my daughter watch her. I don’t want to see her imitating a slut.

  34. Geoffrey Says:
    February 12th, 2006 at 12:40 am

The first thing I won’t to comment on is “the bashing of Stacy Keibler”. First things first calling her an Amazon Whore is discraceful and whoever said it must really be a miserable person. Second, it is true that Stacy did take dancing lessons when she was a child, and that she was a cheerleader as a Nitro girl, which both gave her experience in dancing and performing. But that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care or doesn’t give 110% just like all the other contestants do, and frankly this angers me. I am a WWE FAN and have watched Stacy go through her good days and her bad days, she is truly a beautiful person inside and out, with a spirit that shines through like a beacon of light. Since the beginning of this season of Dancing with the Stars I have watched Stacy improve week after week and practice through frustrating and difficult times she has had with her partner Tony. The third thing is the accuzations of the judges showing favoratism towards STacy. For me, all these people that are saying these things must not have watched every week, or listened to all three judges comments. The first week the most important judge, Lynn Goodman described Stacy’s first dance as ” All Sizzle, No Sausage. The third week Carrie Ann Inaba agreed with Lynn Goodman as describing her facial expression in the first part of her Tango as “it being like COLD FISH! So I say to you Stacy is not perfect, nor has she had all perfect scores with all of her dances, nor with all three judges. I will admit Bruno has really been giving her rave reviews throughout the competition, but hey what can I say that’s his opinion. All other Stacy critics out their have the right to their opinions as well. The fourth thing I want to say is that, I commend every single person on that show, and I appreciate and respect all of them for poseponing their lives to be apart of a show that is a challenge both physically and emotionally. Every week when I sit and watch all of them joke and kid with each other, it makes me think of the joys of life. To see a group of people bond the way they have over the past weeks of the competition , for me, is magical, and it really shows you how perserverence, courage, ambition and love can bring out all the positive aspects of friendship respect and all the other great blessings life has to offer. Now to end what I was saying, I wish all the competitors the best of luck, and want to remind them and anyone else who reads this, that for every bit of critism and hate that comes your way their is 10 times more SUPPORT and LOVE that is sure to come your way. Thank you for listening and for being so understanding.

Geoffrey. Of course you love Stacy. You are a perverted guy. Stacy is beautiful and she has improved. I give her that, but her behavior is unacceptable. So, you’re telling me it’s okay to sell yourself in order to win? It is unfair for those who don’t sell themselves.

  36. John Says:
    February 12th, 2006 at 8:06 am

I can’t believe it. Why would some small minded person state that Stacy has an unfair advantage because of the way she looks, the fact that she took dance classes as a child, the fact that she is attractive, the fact that she has long legs, or the fact that she is a really great dancer. Since it doesn’t appear that she has any artificial parts I guess her looks must be God’s fault! The show is a viewer popularity contest and the results will be only slightly effected by the dancing abilities of the stars as has been evidenced by the length of time that some contestants remained on the show.

I thought Dancing With the Stars was a “SHOW”. Why would some ugly speaking person make a personal attack on a star like that. Why would anyone call Stacy or anyone else for that matter a whore, slut or any other mean name? You don’t know anything more about the stars than what is published. I guess ignorance has no boundaries!

Ladies, be honest with yourselves, how many of you wouldn’t want Stacy’s physical atributes? How many of you wouldn’t do nude a photo shoot if you were in the entertainment business and it was suggested to you by your managers that it would further your carreer. I’m sure that you don’t think that every entertainer that has had a nude photo taken has low morals. If you do feel that way you must live in a very sheltered world and you have my deepest sympathy for being so detached from reality. Do you think that being a contestant on the show will give her media exposure far exceeding her audiences in the WWF. What are you thinking or are you thinking at all?

This show is manipulated from start to finish by the network. Would many viewers watch it if there were a bunch of ugly people on it that danced like Master P? I don’t think so!

You name calling people should be ashamed of yourselves if you have enough grey matter to generate that emotion! From what I have read in this forum I doubt that some of you do!

It’s not whether Stacy is an active professional dancer. It is the amount of professional training she has had versus everybody else. If the contestants aren’t fairly matched, its not a contest. Its dancing and a popularity contest. When well-known stars are booted, watching ballroom dancing for most people will be like watching paint dry only with this show, the viewers come away with a real feeling of having witnessed people who tried having been treated unfairly. I don’t think watching this show is good for viewers as it will just add to their anger and cynicism. It builds meanness in our culture. Maybe the point is it will prepare us to better accept people being cheated in real life like when they pay into social security or pensions and don’t get them. Maybe the show does serve a purpose in that way but I don’t think its good for us.

American Idol is laid out much better than this show but rude Simon does act as a role model for everyone else as do most other popular media people like disrespectful Howard Stern or hate-spewing Russ Lumbaugh. 1. High numbers make for lower call ins.
    2. Visiting the troops is wonderful, but please, does it not seem “planned”.
    3. This show started out the first season as a fun show turning into a mass hysteria of upset fans over who didn’t win.
    4. If you live in a glass house don’t throw stones.
If Stacy wins, so be it. If Drew wins, so be it. If Lisa wins, so be it. If Jerry wins, So be it.
Could any of you practice 4 – 6 hours a day starting Saturday through Wednesday, and then get in front of over a million viewers to be chastized? This I doubt. Stop throwing stones, enjoy the show and vote for who you want to win.

Staci is good but all of the negative comments about her make me think this show won’t last very long. It’s one thing to be an absolute unknown desperately seeking stardom as on American Idol but it looks like this show can cruelly embarass existing stars and maybe hurt them beyond the show. The guy who won last season in a special cheating round hasn’t worked since. The show’s stink spilled over onto him, maybe for good. I think Tatum O’neal was humiliated. Would you take a chance on employing such a witchey person who the show proved the public didn’t like. If its not happening already, the only ones who will risk coming on this show will be pathetic has-beens or never-was’ and that won’t keep the show going — unless they can come up with an awful lot of money. Even so, would you do it?

Y’know, this talk about Stacy’s background seems to skip over one important fact. She’s a wrestler! Which means she’s not only got better conditioning than the rest of the participants, she’s got a stronger work ethic too! She’s had to learn a new dance every week, just like everyone else. If she puts in more effort, with no complaints (heck, it’s probably easier than training to be a wrestler) of course she’ll be the best. And as far as I know, she’s never posed naked…and has said she never will.

Jerry Rice’s leaps are about as graceful as a day laborer jumping off of the back of a truck. Drew looks like Mickey Mouse in a tux dancing it up out there. Lisa’s okay but if any of the other contestants want to get her out of the competition, all they have to do is wet her lips and stick her to the wall. Stacy is easily the best.

If you think Stacy is not a slut, you need a reality check:

    1) She’s a WWE wrestler girl. They’re all sluts.
    2) She hasn’t posed naked, BUT look at the clothes she was wearing on her latest photoshoots. THAT’S slutty.
    3) She doesn’t dress sexy. Sexy is different. Sexy has its discretions. Wearing almost underwear and nothing is wearing slutty clothes. If wearing slutty clothes wasn’t bad, then they wouldn’t be against it at schools.
    4) She has a great body and she’s very beautiful, but face the fact that she IS a slut. Would you pose almost naked just to win votes for a tv show? Oh, I bet you would since you agree with her on that.
    5) Anyone can practice as much as they do. You just have to go there and do it. It’s harder for some and it’s easier for some, but anyone can do it. Stacy has an advantage. She has a dancing background and what makes it unfair is that she already knew what to expect so it’s easier for her. You can’t have a dancing background like hers if you want to get on the show. It’s obvious she will win, that’s why a lot of people are saying they like her even when they know the true facts.

To the people who are coming up with stupid conclusions that all of the women who have posted here are jealous of her. Take a look at this:

-There are guys here who have posted saying they think she was hot, but she has an unfair advantage. Does that make them jealous?
-Women here aren’t attacking her looks. They’re attacking the fact she does have an unfair advantage and IS slutty. Well, if you think Stacy isn’t slutty then I guess you’d know better since you are probably one. Keep in mind we all have different points of view on what’s moral and what isn’t. If you think wearing the clothes Stacy wears and posing almost naked on magazines isn’t slutty, then let’s teach that in schools and let teenagers go to school in underwear.

I agree that media makes people mad. Seriously, where’s that so called freedom of speech? So what if they don’t like Stacy, but like Lisa. Lisa has a great body, too. That doesn’t mean they’re jealous of Stacy, does it? I say it, blame it on the media. It’s not Stacy’s fault she behaves like that. It’s the fact the media gave her a chance to behave like that on a tv show like this. So far, I haven’t seen any jealousy here. All I see is people defending morality from their point of view. The way Stacy dresses is slutty. Whether or not in your own little world you want to believe that, it’s true. Go here and take a look at this picture:

Are you going to tell me that isn’t slutty? Would you let your kids wear that type of clothing? Well, since you people think wearing that it’s cool, then they should allow it in schools right? If that isn’t slutty, then what is it? Sexy? No, there’s a difference. That’s sexual. Now take a look at this.

Isn’t that slutty? If you don’t think so, then you are one of those people who like to wear underwear-like type of clothes. There has to be a limit. There has to be discretion. Now look at this:

What do you think now? Is Stacy slutty or not? What about this:

She could’ve wore that the whole time, but later…

    Oh striptease!

Acceptable clothing: These are the only pics of Stacy with acceptable clothes. This is how dancing is supposed to be. Sexy, not sexual-slutty. These pictures show sexyness and discretion:

Now, other contestants have wore “slutty” clothes, too. But Stacy wears them most of the time. It’s time for her to show a bit of discretion. Stacy is not a good rolemodel. She might be a good dancer and have a hot body, but she doesn’t have morals. If she has any kids in the future, when her kids look at what she did. Do you think they won’t be embarrassed? Who cares what she does now, think about the future. If she has kids, all they will learn is that her mom was a WWE wrestler girl who dressed slutty. What a good example!

    Look: http://abc.go.com/primetime/dancing/images/gallery/202/gallery.html?photo=28

That’s technically a bikini with a cloth on.

Samba clothes. They fit her personality.

Underwear is transparent, swimsuits aren’t. Unless you make them that way. Well look at who’s talking. A guy will always agree with sluts. I think it’s the fact Stacy is not setting the greatest example better. She’s a great dancer and as one she should set a good example to those who want to follow. The same rules apply to everyone when it comes to clothing. Slutty clothing= bad and inmoral. A bikini is great, but then wearing a tight and small bikini-thong, then that’s slutty.

All you women who think Stacy is a slut should pull your children out of school…immediately! All of you should gouge out their eyes, have their ears removed, and make all their receptive senses useless, because the world IS immoral these days.

Children are sleeping together *gasp* UNDERAGE! They are listening to music with *another gasp* SWEAR WORDS IN THEM! Stacy Keibler is not a major contributer to this.

I can understand why some of you are jealous of the attention Stacy is getting because she is beautiful, but face it, you don’t know her, and many of you have never followed her previous endeavours.

In the WWE (where not all the women are sluts, some of them are actually well-moralled people, take Nora Greenwald for example), a profession largely dominated by male employers, employees and fans; Stacy has not once appeared nude, and she has been quite against the idea, claiming she never will.

Yes, those photos make her look like a slut. Is every actress that plays a well-mannered prostitute in the movies a slut? Stacy doesn’t design her own costumes (unless she has amazing talents in designing as well as dancing), she simply wears them. You think she could refuse? Ha! Stacy probably likes the rolls of money coming her way, she’s not going to make any enemies by saying “No, I don’t want to wear slightly revealing clothes which some people might consider slutty because they are the current fashion all their daughters are wearing,”. If she did, she would never be featured in “Dancing with the Stars”, because she would be forced out of her mainstream television position, and forced into a life where she WOULD need to dance professionally to put food on her table.

Facts are: Stacy is in a relationship with someone, something I’m sure you wish for all your daughters (down the line); she has said she will never pose naked, something none of you wish for your daughter; and she is extremely talented. FACE IT! I’m not saying she’s a saint, but she is one of the better influences your daughters have these days. She manages to balance out being hot and being respectable at the same time. Your daughters might actually accept her as a role-model because she fits in with society’s current image of the young woman, which could help them in the long run.

For all of those who scoff at this and want to issue me with statements saying she is obviously a whore who would have sex with a man for a free apple, I just want to tell you that is childish and tunnel-visioned. Look outside on any given day and you will see a lot of people dressed worse than Stacy, who are STILL ATTENDING PRIMARY SCHOOL! I’ve even seen three-year old girls wearing mini-skirts. Let’s blame Stacy Keibler instead of ourselves. Teach your kids being a slut is bad, and when they say “my friends do it, they’re fine”, refer them to Stacy Keibler who is attractive, fashionable yet doesn’t give in to the pressure to sell herself. Yes, for all you dinosaurs out there, it is possible to look attractive to men without whoring yourself out. She is one of the few attractive women in her position that don’t, and one of the few that actually has talent.

Oh yeah, she’s “cheating” because she took dance as a kid. So did I, my school enforced it. A lot of parents enroll their kids into classes to just get them excersize and expose them to culture. Stacy A) didn’t follow it profesionally, and B) doesn’t dance on a regular basis (not more than any other woman her age would, anyway). Maybe one of the other stars on this show danced at a wedding! Disqualify them!

All of you calling Stacy a negative influence on your kids, please, and I mean this as nicely as possible, get your priorities straight, because Stacy is simply PERFORMING! That’s what dance is.

God forbid any attractive woman moves and shows off her flexibility and dexterity, because it is sexually suggestive. Hey, I got an idea, let’s let a novice dancer dance the way she is instructed to and does well, and be happy that these judges are genuinely impressed by her abilities.

Golly gosh, she’s a young blonde woman with a nice body which the costume designers and dance instructors on the show capitalise on. No place for something THAT immoral within our society. We’ll keep our teenage whores thank you.

I’m sorry if this offended anyone, but I think a lot of you need to come out of a bubble. I am around the same age as Stacy, and I can honestly tell you, she is not so bad when you look at others. Some of you are jealous because she “poisons” morality, but she doesn’t, considering morality died a long time ago. You can’t revive it with disgrunted complaining about the way attractive women, seen as objects by some, because that war has already been lost. There needs to be more woman in that bracket which stand out from the rest by not going nude on TV for entertainment purposes.

If Stacy poses nude, this whole thing because void. But in reality, her sexuality is unknown to ANY of you, and all we have to go by are statements she has made. She has refuses to allow your sons to see her naked body for cash. God forbid she gets anywhere in life.

Anyone who feels differently is just jealous.

Practice makes perfect and I don’t think for a second she was a born dancer. She practices as much as the others, maybe even more. She’s worked hard and she doesn’t desserve to be called slutty just cause she’s gorgeous, can wiggle what God gave her and if this were the garden of Eden and she performed for the Lord, well, forget about Cain doing in Abel; they’ve have both ganged up on Stacey `cause she’s such a magnificent sight for sore eyes. The only thing I don’t like here is that they accepted Stacy knowing she had a dancing background and people don’t seem to care about that, yet they make a big deal about an American Idol auditioner who has had musical experience and even a record deal that has been broken.

Nobody’s perfect. She might be “perfect.” And it doesn’t matter how had she has worked in the past. She still has the dancing background that’s not allowed. She’s a great dancer, I guess it’s not her fault it’s easier for her to learn through this competition because of her past experiences. Slutty isn’t a good thing, unless you are used to it, so you think it’s right. There are other ways to show off your body. If being slutty was a good thing. We would teach that to teenagers and let them be slutty. Being sexy is good. There are a lot of people who are gorgeous out there and aren’t slutty. So just because they say she’s slutty doesn’t mean they’re referring of her being gorgeous. It’s the fact she acts slutty and is selling herself in order to win the competition. And before you mention God. God gave us our bodies to show them with respect. There’s a difference there. Dancing is supposed to be sexy not a way you can strip off your clothes and sell yourself.

Oh she hasn’t posed naked, that’s true, but she has had posed almost naked. At least she covers her parts. I seriously doubt moms these days would like their daughters to be like Stacy. We don’t know more about her past so we can’t tell what she did or not, but we can see how she behaves on television and her behavior is not 100% good. How do you know she isn’t or wasn’t slutty? You don’t know about that either. I think people are basing on what they see. You are a guy so obviously you will defend her until death if you could. When you think of her, what do you think about? Going to church every sunday or having a romantic respectable date? Or do you just think on what a great body she has and how good she’d be in bed with you? The first thing that will pop in your mind is how much you’d want to go to bed with her. Even if you think of that romantic dinner, the first thing that pops in your mind is what counts. I’m sure you will type here that, that isn’t the first, but it’s a guy’s nature to think that way and you can’t deny it.

I can hardley wait to see the next show! After reading all the crap from people who think a young blond woman is the daughter of Satin or the potential cause of turning an unknown number of young girls into hookers I really will be anxious to see if I can find something these “moral” experts have missed.

People, this show is supposed to be entertainment. It is not intended to be a life or death struggle for the souls of young girls any more than it is guide for their development.

Everyone has their own opinion about what is fair and what is proper. All you prudes that think that the content of the show is, for some reason, not up to acceptable standards need to express your opinion by turning OFF the show if you don’t like it and are afraid that it is going to cause your daughters clothes to fall off and legs to fly apart. Boycott the products advertised by it’s sponsors and send the network cards and letters and e-mails explaining your warped opinions.

Let’s talk about the claim that Stacy is a slut or acts like one. Webster defines a slut as 1. A woman considered sexually promiscuous and 2. A woman prostitute. I don’t believe that anyone has the information to confirm that Stacy is guilty of either. You can say that she wears skimpy costumes and that she moves provocitavely but the conclusion that she is a slut is generated by your own misinformed twisted mind. If she didn’t move the way she does and didn’t stir up interest she wouldn’t be a contender to win the dance contest.

For all the whiners that complain about the dance training that Stacy has had, you need to “get a life” since the ability to dance only represents a small part of the standard by which the winner of this contest will be determined. If you don’t think that statement is true look back to the first show when the best dancers lost the first contest and was only awarded the trophy after the viewers were outraged because the best dancers didn’t win the first time.

And finally, to all you moral guardians. Not all men are controled by their sex organs. When I watch the show I measure the quality of the performance for each contestant and consider which contestant does the best job and only then do I decide that those legs are outstanding and the way she moves her hips is outstanding and that I really would like to see what it would be like to dance the horizontal mombo with her. HA HA HA Stacy wins!!!!
