No one would ever believe that Constantine Maroulis didn’t even make the top five of American Idol 4 if they were to strictly look at his career success since the show. While many of top finishers on American Idol 4 have done quite well for themselves, Constantine’s success stands out in relation to his order of elimination from the show. Constantine has gone on tour, landed a sitcom deal, and now graces the cover of American Idol the Magazine.
In the second issue of the second volume of American Idol the Magazine, Constantine Maroulis is featured in an article entitled “Long Live Constantine.” The article gives a bio detailing how Constantine became involved in music and examines Constantine’s tremendous success since his early elimination from American Idol. One of the more interesting tidbits involves a white-haired chorus teacher that believed in Constantine’s talent. The teacher passed away, but Constantine believes that she is his guardian angel. He was even visited by a gigantic owl with huge white feathers before one of his shows a year after her death and feels the owl was a sign from his teacher.
In addition to the article on Constantine, American Idol the magazine also includes a story on American Idol Underground, reviews of albums by Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice, and an official American Idol scorecard. The magazine also offers up several interesting details on the Top 45 contestants of American Idol 5.
