The producers will send in the best players automatically. This means the following six will enter anyway:
Will,Kaysar,James, Janelle, Danielle, and probably Chicken George(they seem to want someone from BB1 in)
Do Not Waste votes on them!!
    Vote for these six:
    Diane,Nakomis,Jase, Howie,Ivette, and Alsion.
This is a great cast for all Stars!

Sorry, but this seems to already be heading in the same direction as last season! Nothing but a “popularity contest”! Why would we want the same tired old battles that we had last season? Frankly, I was sick of it all! If America votes back in Kaysar, Janelle, Howie, James, and Ivette, especially since she’s apparently “jumped (friend)ship”, you are just going to have another “Sovereign” team spewing their “holier than thouest” attitudes! Why not vote in one or two people from each season and at least let them form new alliances, and have some fresh strategies, instead of the same old stale ones? I personally don’t think Kaysar even DESERVES another chance! He’s alresdy had two chances, and blown them both! How many chances does one person get? He obviously thinks he was the most brilliant strategest of all time, and merely got “robbed”! Sorry, but I didn’t see it that way. He was outwitted and outsmarted. It’s as simple as that; he deserves no special consideration. I’m sure that BB will be bringing back the ones that they feel will cause the most upheavel and drama, anyway! So, America should be casting their votes for the ones they feel gave the best performances and strategies. Out of the people from last season vying for a place in the top 12, my votes would go to James and Howie. James for best strategy and Howie for best “performance”. No one could argue that he WAS performing! The rest of the votes should go to people from other seasons. Just my view!

To comment on some of the above:
First: Some of the best players are getting in so that doesnt wash. Will, Janelle, Diane, James, and Danielle were the best players.
Yes, it is a popularity contest in the sense of this: Why sent in boring people(most of Season one, some of the unmemorable people from BB2-BB4. Do we need some of them again. Heck, No!
Kaysar did shake up the house and this season will hinge on what Alliances are formed.
We do not not need people like Lisa, Erika, and Dana because they werent fun to watch and had little to no stratetic.
Alison we all need for pure drama and to lie her head off again. Vette really is a good player and her Diary Room rantings are worth her in the house. Jase and Howie are entertainers and performers but that does not mean they cannot still play the game in whatever contect.
We do not want a repeat of Season One which moved like molasses.
Let the game and the “Popularity Contest” begin!!

I don’t agree at ALL that “some of the best players are getting in and that Will, Janelle, Diane, James, and Danielle were the best players”! I personally thought Janelle was a horrible player! She was so blatantly hateful to the players that weren’t in her alliance and one of the poorest “sports” I’ve ever seen! She hopped around, screamed, and threw it in the faces of the opposing team every time she won a competition; but never once was gracious enought to congratulate them when they won something. Which they did her, by the way! And Diane was no where NEAR one of the best players! What did she do that was so fantastic? Except fall for a “hunk” and go all gaa-gaa over him while in the game! Same as Janelle! I agree it’s nothing more than a popularity contest; that’s why I don’t care for the America voting aspect. And who says Lisa, Erica, and Dana weren’t fun to watch and had no strategy? Sorry, but YOUR comments “don’t wash” in my book! What strategy did Jase have? To be obnoxious? Howie would do well back again, I think. But I agree that Kaysar is just “history” and needs to go be “king” somewhere else! His Big Brother House ruling days are long gone! I think Dr. Will is a good choice. And I too think we need a mixture; not the same old “teams”. YUCK! Too deja vu. If I want to watch another season of BB6 I’ll turn on some reruns. Lets do something new and different, huh?

Im sorry you people are all hepped over people from Season2-4. Season 4 was the pitts. Diane did alot, won HOH and broke up Scott and Jase, turned it around and evicted Karen(which wasnt her best move as it turned out) However, she played the game hard. Erika, Dana, Jun, Lisa, they were pleasant but that’s it.
They had no strategies at all. Jun sort of parlayed her smug-pug and cookin’ talents to the end but the other three did next to nothing. Dana? Barely remember her.
And watch for Marvin and/or Holly to show up as one of the two other rumored Houseguests.

Hey Mike, to each his own in their opinions on who was and wasn’t the best player. And also as to what people’s strategies were! Because someone may have flew under the radar and, in your opinion, had no strategy is just what it is. Your opinion! Maybe to not appear to have a strategy WAS their strategy; ever think of that? It is still just your opinion, and arguably so as to what seasons were the best or the worst. Everyone likes someone different. Everyone thinks one person “played” better than another; but that doesn’t make any one person right or another wrong. Just different! Lighten up man!

  12. Mike C Says:
    June 29th, 2006 at 11:25 am

Please, opions do matter. Yes, some did not appear to have strategies(Cowboy, Holly, Dana, Erika, Boo-Boo(Season 6), and a host of others. The point being the show is ABOUT people-who you liked, didnt like, strategists/non-strategists. This is the whole point. And certainly people were appaling(Alison, Cowboy, Dr. will, Jennifer(BB6),etc. So that is my obeservations.
lighteing up doesnt come into play. We also have hilarious players who just make the “game” fun(Howie, Marvin, Amy, Nicole, and Jase.
This is why BB is a great show.
Its fun to argue the value/non-vaule of these people. Entertainment, ya all!!!

  13. Sandi Says:

Hi Mike, I agree with you in the sense that everyone’s opinion definitely “matters”; but I think that Jerry’s point ( and I hope I’m not speaking out of turn here ) is that you seem to be stating your opinion as though it were fact and not just an opinion. For instance, your statements that certain houseguests had no strategies. Just because they appeared not to have strategies to you, does not make your statement a fact. It just means that if they did have strategies, you failed to pick up on them. Also your statements concerning which season was, in your words, “the pits”. That is just an opinion, not a fact. Many others could feel that season four was one of the best! And if I’m reading Jerry’s post correctly, he’s kist trying to point out that for every person who may agree with your “opinions”, there are equally as many who may not! I think he was simply suggesting you lighten up in the sense that you don’t appear to differentiate the difference between the opinions of the game from the facts of the game. And it is indeed fun to lightheartedly argue with others over their opinions of certain people and events that happen in the game. After all, that’s why these boards are here. And BB IS a great show; I think we can ALL agree on that. Otherwise none of us would be watching season after season! Sometimes we can come across as a little overbearing in our opinions. I know I have on many occasions. We tend to forget that just because we see things a certain way, doesn’t make us right in our observations. We can all be wrong occasionally! It never hurts to be reminded of that.

    To Sandi and Jerry:
Ok, your points are well taken. I do think there is a place for the following people:

Dr. Will, Alsion, Jennifer(Season 6)Cowboy(Yikes!!!),Jun,Will Mega,SEason 1, and some of Season 2-Most of Season 4.
Do I really want nor need to see these people again? If people like the people I find useless or strategyless, that’s great.
We need people like Alison, Dr. Will, and Vette strictly to create dramam, off set the real players who at least are half-way likeable, and also some just plain fun(Howie and Jase-Jase wasnt obnoxious, she really just played a game!!!) Some of these others dont play at all(Lisa,Erika,Dana, some people that went out week 2 or 3)
    If people like em, wonderful.
Crazy people liven it up. Do you really all want a repeat of the first season which on tape, doesnt hold up and seems “staged”.
No alliance will force everyone this season to rethink there games. We will not get a repeat of last season for all its yelling and over-the-top stuff-which was still fun.
Yes, people should like someone like Eric(Cappy!!!!)
    They have their place….exiting early!!!!!

Hey guys! Can I jump in and put in my two cents worth? To Sandi and Jerry I think you both did make some good points. To Mike I think you made some too. But I do disaggree with some of what you are saying. I don’t really think it fair to keep asking if people want a repeat of first season like it’s boringness had anything to do with the houseguests who played the game. They did the best they could with what they had to work with. It was a totally different game. Nothing like the current BB. No HOHs, no America votes. Lots of changes that had nothing to do with the people inside the house. You talk about the strategizers and how we need them in the game to make it interesting. But do we need all the same ones making the same old alliances? Who do you think will band together if we get in Kaysar, Janelle, Howie, James, and Ivette, since she’s sworn off the friendship and now a friend of James? And you can add Dana to that list as she has been a visitor on James’ website many times, so it would be safe to assume she’s one of their friends, as well. There’s a group of six out of twelve or maybe fourteen players right there! If CBS is just going to put in another surrogate Sovereign team to play against a few other players, what’s the use? Might as well just give them the money, since none of them won it last time, and call it a wrap! You may not like Lisa, Erika, Cowboy, and a few others, but I thought we were having a season where all the past players got the chance to replay the game, not just a season so the Sovereign Six got another opportunity to see if they could win!

    To the Above:
I do not think we necessary gonna have a repeat of last season by any means. Even if most of them make it in, there is no saying they will form an alliance against the rest of the HG. With a mixture, I feel it will be up in the air. Dont look for Vette to bond with them. Hopefully, she will bond with like Jase and/or Nakomis. I think there will be mini-allaiances. We wont have just two groups here. Ya all are overlooking that. And where do you put in someone like Alison??
The key wil be these aliances-not necessary if dregs like Bunky and Cowboy get in.
If James get win Vetos again and HOH a couple of times, he wil win.
If not, someone unexspected will outlast these big hitters like Dr. Will, Danielle, and our Janie.
    Lots of surprises in store.

    Mike

  17. Jerry N. Says:

Well there’s a possibility that mini-alliances will be formed; but just as much possibility that it could be another season of one half the house divided against the other. Whose to say? And I can’t imagine that people who are such great friends on the outside would not be forming alliances on the inside (Kaysar, Janie, James, Howie, and yes, even Vette) if theyre all together. James and Vette were pretty tight in the last house and she has shown up on his website many times. I don’t understand why you’d think people like Bunky and Cowboy are ‘dregs’ who’ll make alliances unnecessary? Cowboy made it all the way to the final two. Whether or not you give him credit for having a strategy; that’s not easy to accomplish. My opinion is that people like K, J, J, H, and even V will almost have to form an alliance; otherwise the rest of the houseguests will be targeting them first because they foresee them as the biggest threats. And if they do, then as some people stated earlier; it’ll just be another season 6 all over again. Its all really speculation, when none of us know what all CBS has in store. But I tend to agree that I dont like the idea of to many houseguests from one season getting in. Break it up so there’s no remote chance of another sov alliance.
