After Chicken George nominates James and Erika, he explains that James is his true target and Erika is just a pawn. James tells Howie that his Jedi alliance partner Chicken George is gone. Mike Boogie plots with James and Danielle to try to convince Chicken George to backdoor Janelle. Janelle and Howie tell Chicken George that everyone wanted him nominated last week but they kept him off the block. Chicken George tells them that if he was going to go after them then he would have already done it. Mike Boogie tries to convince Chicken George to backdoor Janelle if someone comes off the block in the veto competition.
For the veto competition, the houseguests are chained to a wooden stump. The houseguests are given a variety of items to use to try to reach a golden bag containing a key that is several feet away. James wins power of veto.
Erika forms an alliance with Chicken George and tells him that she stands a better chance of staying if he puts up Janelle or Howie against her. Dr. Will tells Chicken George to put him up so that they can send Erika home this week. Chicken George tells Janelle that the whole house even James wants her out. Chicken George tells Janelle that putting her up would go against everything he believes in and says he wants to join up with them. Howie asks Chicken George if he is going to sell him out, and Chicken George says no. Janelle and Howie agree to join up with Chicken George and promise to vote to keep Erika in the house.
Chicken George tells Erika that he’s thinking about putting Will up, but right before the nominations Mike Boogie calls Chicken George out and tells him that Will saved him last week. At the veto ceremony, James uses the power of veto to save himself. Chicken George says that Mike Boogie and Dr. Will saved him and that he won’t go after Janelle because she’s played the game so well and he want go against Danielle, so Howie is the only one left for him to put up. Howie goes off on Chicken George for having promised him twice that he wouldn’t put him up.
Howie talks to Dr. Will and Mike Boogie, and they both tell him that they are voting to keep him. Dr. Will and Mike Boogie then discuss with James the idea of voting out Howie, but James says he can’t vote against Howie. In the eviction ceremony, Danielle, Dr. Will, and Mike Boogie vote to evict Howie. James and Janelle vote to evict Erika. Howie is evicted by a vote of 3 to 2. Before leaving the house, Howie has a confrontation with Mike Boogie. Howie grabs Mike Boogie’s hat and throws it, while telling him, “Thanks for the sell out, buddy.” Mike Booke applauds and says “Tight, class move, another class act leaves the Big Brother house.” Howie then gets up in Mike Boogie’s face and says “Right to my face, lie to me, you little punk.” After Howie leaves the house, Julie Chen asks him what just happened inside with Mike Boogie, and Howie says he takes it personal when someone lies to him.
For the HOH competition, it is the return of the gnomes. Houseguests are asked a series of questions and must stick their head in a gnome cut out labeled either true or false. The gnomes hit houseguests who answer incorrectly with a pie in the face and they are eliminated from the competition. Mike Boogie wins the HOH competition.
