Reality TV Week In Review – Rock Star Loses A Star, Stan Lee Finds A Hero

In the early stages of Rock Star Supernova, it looked like Ryan Star might be headed for a quick elimination. However, as the show progressed, Ryan Star began to emerge as a contender. Even though Lukas Rossi and Dilana seem to be on the fast track to the final two, Ryan Star was the rock singer who appeared to have the best shot at pulling off a dark horse victory. Ryan’s original song “Back Of Your Car” was arguable the best original song of the competition so far (and that includes the Supernova original songs).
When Tommy Lee took the hatchet to Ryan Star, the studio audience booed and a massive Internet protest started. Numerous complaints surfaced about the online MSN voting. Almost everyone seemed to be in agreement that there were problems with the online voting for an hour or so after the show aired, but there was extensive disagreement over if the problems affected all the rock singers or just Ryan Star. In a video interview posted on MSN.com, Ryan Star blasted back at Supernova, claiming that he would be looking down at them on the charts.
While Rock Star might have lost a star this week, comic book legend Stan Lee found a hero. In the finale to Who Wants To Be A Superhero, Stan Lee faced a tough decision between Fat Momma and Feedback, who both had exemplified the characteristics of a hero. In the end, Feedback just seemed to want it more, and Stan Lee crowned him as the first winner of Who Wants To Be A Superhero.
On Big Brother All Stars, Dr. Will and Mike Boogie continued to be the puppet masters of the game. In a double eviction episode, both Danielle and Chicken George were sent packing. With only their showmances standing in their way, Dr. Will and Mike Boogie appear to be well on their way to the final two.
Other reality TV eliminations included Toasteee from Flavor Of Love, Nick Acevedo from The Contender, and Angela Keslar from Project Runway. The reality TV world was also shocked by a real life elimination: Donald Trump fired his trusted advisor and Apprentice co-star Carolyn Kepcher.

Just get over it! Ryan was not material for a big star such as Dilana, Magni, Storm or Toby. Lukas, although probably will win, is not star material either.
