Rock Star Supernova – Dilana’s Comments Create Controversy Among Fans

This weeks Rock Star Supernova MSN webisode starts off with Dilana calling her elimination show performance the worst performance of her life. The rock singers then unwind by throwing food and wine in each other’s faces and taking a swim. For this week’s rock clinic, the rock singers get to write lyrics to a new Supernova track. Most of the rock singers immediately start writing down lyrics for the track, but Dilana struggles to come up with ideas.
The rock singers work with Gilby Clarke to further develop their lyrics. Gilby Clarke enjoys working with Storm Large, is disappointed with Magni’s lyrics, thinks Lukas Rossi’s song is very good but is irritated because he didn’t complete it, says Toby Rand had the most complete contribution, and thinks Dilana’s lyrics were a little clichÃ. Dilana calls her song “Metamorphosis Lizard Skin,” and she says “it was about people on the Internet who vote for us, Supernova, you know the fans, it was just,it was basically a screw you kind of song.”
The rock singers find out that they will be doing one cover song and one original song for the next performance show. Dilana and Lukas Rossi argue over the song “Behind Blue Eyes,” but Magni convinces Lukas to do “Living On A Prayer” instead. At the end of the webisode, Dilana says she’s going to win back her fans that she needs them and they need her.
As one might imagine, Dilana’s comment about her original Supernova song hasn’t gone over to well with Internet fans. On his blog at 6767.com, Dave Navarro points out the comments and suggests that maybe “she was referring to the haters online and that it accidentally came out wrong.” However, Navarro also points out that she needs “to learn to think before she opens her mouth.”

Now the producers are creating a false controversy, so their paramour Lukas can win.
Dilana’s comments were toward the HATERS…not the fans supporting her! Selective editing on that one.
It’s so unbelievably obvious they are paving the way for Pukas!
Magni, Toby and Dilana deserve better than this crappy, contrived, bunch of losers. I hope their success will outshine the has-beens in SN.

i think supernova made the wrong choice last week ryan should not have left it sux i am so dissapointed. Dilana should have left cuz she sucked with her performance and i saw you all screw your faces up. Also Lukas is the worst person on the show you can’t understand what he is singing half the time it’s just not right for supernova and Dilana all this stuff that has been happening it’s all in your head love move on. I want magni to win so badly he deserves it rock on!

Dilana I here that the folks over at the “Great Big Fish and Tackle Company” need a spokes person. Are you up for that gig? Although, you will have to change your name to Dilana “BIG out-a-TUNA” Robichaux.
Dilana Robichaux and Magni Asgeirsson will go in double elimination. Just because Tommy can not pronounce their last names. That way ZK’s prediction can fall in place. “Now the producers are creating a false controversy, so their paramour Lukas can win.” You are correct ZK!
I wonder how long it would take Storm to shave Lukas’ legs. But God, I hope she starts with his eyebrows. On the other hand, I would help Storm shave her kitty.

I have watched every show from the beginning. I was sad to see Ryan go, I hope hear more of him. Dilana needs to go. I agree no-one is perfect, but we all should try. As who should be in front of SN, at this point Toby!!! Lucas is just weird…

I can not believe that Lukas is still on there. You can not understand what he is singing, he has the worst vocals on the show!! He completlely butchered Bon Jovi’s song last night! Ugh!! Have Supernova been rocking so long they are almost deaf and can’t hear what we hear?? I love Magni’s vocals and his original song was great but I don’t think he will win. Toby deserves to win but ……..

Dilana is the only one that has the “IT” factor, despite her mistake(hasn’t Tommy made any? or any of us)she is a fantastic performer, vocalist and by far the most memorable. But oh yeah a WOMAN front the boys??? NO WAY they would loose to many groupies, how pathetic old men trying to be 20 again…I thought this was gonna be good and have some longevity ;I was excited that my favourite rockers were gonna form an awesome band…I would NEVER spend any money on this band without
Dilana as their front MAN!…oh yeah it doesn’t matter, I’m old and not perky anymore the goal is young groupies, too bad they don’t know who you(Supernova) really are and they don’t dig old saggy balls anyway.

Well, whether one likes her or not one has to admit that the girl can perform!
What a showperson! I was astonished when she suddenly leapt up from the stool and shot out across the stage, hopping on one leg, covering the distance separating her from the screaming fans faster than I could have run it on two good legs! WOW! I was at an Aerosmith show once when Steven Tyler hurt his leg quite badly. I could hardly tell anything had happened, he carried on like a trouper! So did Dilana, though the pain was so evident in her face that it was clearly not easy for her.
I truely do enjoy Dilana, she is the whole reason I watch the show week after week. You know I would actually pay money to see her perform. As for the other performers, welllllll, I just haven’t seen anything really outstanding there.
Magni is very good, Toby seems willing but weak, Lucas is just like fingernails on a chalkboard, and Storm is absolutely nothing. If I heard Magni on the radio I might listen for a little bit anyway, but if I heard Dilana I’d say, “Hey, who is that? She sounds just like the girl from Rock Star! You know, the one with the wild pink and black hair.” As for the rest of them, I’d switch stations.
Now as for personality: I couldn’t care less about personalities; I don’t watch a preformer because of their personality. If I did I would probably be a huge Ghandi fan! Naw, that’s their private business, I am only paying to watch them ‘ply their trade’.
I think I’ll go get on eBay now and buy Dilana’s two CDs.

Ok, the editing is very contrite, the are making a bigger deal about Dilana’s ordeal, and notice every time some one performed last night they cut to her face? Enough already, she may have screwed up, but man, Tommy Lee is the last to judge that…
I still like her rawness in her voice, I still like her. Can she front the band? Yes, Will she front the band? no. it is obvious that Lukas is their choice, comments like last night, I just do not get! He does not mesmerize me in any way..Hell, I can not even understand half of what he sings…grrr.
Magni has a great voice, but he will not be the one either, Storm can strut it, but once again, she will not be the one, Toby is great too, but he is too young for them..not hard edged enough…sadly it will be Lukas, and I promise you I will not go to a concert or buy the album if that is the final result.

dilanas voice is typical she sounds like bonnie ryatt or whatever her name is- Yeah she’s got the “look” but so does everyone else. Who wants to deal with her tempertantrums anyways I’m sure these seasoned musicians don’t have time to deal with her mood swings. Forget about the girl power bullshit. Lets get a real rocker-with that being said let the best man win- nothing personal dilana but just because you look “cool” doesn’t make you a good singer-

This comp may not be all about personality but if i was hiring a singer and they’d badmouthed people like Dilana has i’d be thinking twice. its a pity because she could front that band and take it somewhere but you cant have a personality like that talking to the worlds press because you dont know how much damage she’s going to cause. Bottom line Lukas may not have the best voice or great enunciation BUT he has an edge, he’s fascinating to watch and he’s at least kinda humble, a skill which Dilana definitely lacks. Magnis a good singer/frontman….no edge. Storm could do it but Tommy would want to S**g her, end of band and toby’s a bit to clean looking, great frontman but not for Supernova. Time will tell.

I can not believe what i’m reading…. Pukas??? First of all and far most.. all of you people out there who not with the whole LUKAS ROSSI POSSI… thats just too fucking bad! You guys are just jealous and mad that Lukas is the man for the job and you all know it! Deep down you know hes an incredible singer, songwriter, and has got what it takes to be a rockstar! … and i forgot.. hes HOT TOO! Since day one he had been the favorite with or without Dilana “screwing up”… She sucks .. so GET OVER IT! Magni… hes great, great voice but doesnt have the edge. Toby.. great performer, but hes a little too late…

Just got done reading an interview with Pukas after he “won”. He’s such a conceited a**hole. He believes his own hype. I actually think Dilana got the better end of the deal. And yes, I think the band of boys picked Pukas only because he will help them in their picking up of underage girls on tour. And once their little tour is over, then the band will break up too. Leaving Mr. Rossi out on his butt.
Meanwhile, Dilana can be doing her solo thing with an album out and everything. She can have anyone back her and do her thing, her own way.
I was hoping Tobi or Magni would win… any one but Pukas. He’s nothing but eye candy for the 12-year-olds. Anyone remember Billy Idol??? Pukas is trying to be his long lost love child… I’ve noticed him doing many of the same moves. He’s been watching too much classic MTV.
Dilana’s career will outlive them all.
