While Big Brother fans have been anticipating a Dr. Will Kirby and Janelle Pierzina final two showdown for weeks, they both came up just a little bit short, leaving the house in the fourth and third place positions respectively. Instead of the evil doctor or America’s sweetheart taking the ultimate title of Big Brother All Stars winner, it will either be Dr. Will’s sidekick and Dolce billboard Mike “Boogie” Malin or his showmance and perennial floater Erika Landin. Which of these two All Stars will take home the half-million dollar prize?
Perhaps, the better question might be “Who cares which of these two All Stars will take home the half-million dollar prize?” Internet message boards have not been kind to the two finalists who denied Janelle Pierzina her shot at the half million dollar prize for the second year in a row. After two great seasons of masterful Big Brother play by Janelle, many fans are struggling to cope with watching her settle for another third place finish. If there is any silver lining in Janelle’s defeat, it’s only that viewers now know that the show is legit and wasn’t rigged for her to win, which has been a constant source of rumors this season.
Even though Big Brother fans might be wishing there was another choice, the Big Brother finale should still prove to be an entertaining event. There is no clear winner at this point, and the vote could very well come down to a four to three decision. There are also rumors that one or more houseguests could either be disqualified from voting or could have chosen to abstain from voting. In this scenario, the winner would be decided by a viewer voting poll on the CBS website.
Reality TV Magazine analyzed how we though that the jury members would vote, and we have arrived at a prediction of who will win Big Brother All Stars. The most certain vote in the house is that of Dr. Will Kirby. There is little doubt that he will be a sure thing vote for Boogie. Given the heated exchange Howie Gordon had with Boogie before he left the house, one could also assume that Howie would vote for Erika. However, it is possible that Will could be working his magic in the jury house to change Howie’s mind.
Marcellas is also a likely vote for Erika. Erika was on the block with Marcellas when he was evicted so she did not vote to evict him like Boogie did. Marcellas tends to hold a grudge so look for him to vote for Erika as payback to Boogie. Chicken George was friends with both Erika and Boogie so it could be a toss-up as to which way he votes. Chicken George will likely vote with his heart, and his heart will tell him that Erika needs the money more than Boogie (who is a co-owner in several successful restaurants).
James and Janelle could also go either way. However, they both appeared to be better friends with Boogie than Erika for the majority of their time in the house. Janelle got close to Erika at the end, but it will not likely be enough to overcome her previous friendship with Boogie and Will’s influence. Both James and Janelle will likely vote for Boogie.
Common sense might dictate that Danielle will not vote for Erika to win because Erika betrayed her. However, there is a chance that Danielle will put that behind her and vote for Erika if she thinks Erika’s the better player. However, it’s also possible that Danielle will be unable to overcome her anger toward Erika and will vote to give the money to Boogie.
Our prediction is that Will, James, and Janelle will vote for Boogie, while Howie, Chicken George, Marcellas, and Danielle will vote for Erika. We predict Erika will win Big Brother All Stars by a vote of four to three. If jury member disqualifications result in a tie vote, then we still give the edge to Erika. Erika has been active in the reality TV community and was voted into the house by America’s Choice, while Boogie rode into the house on Will’s coattails. Erika holds the advantage if the viewer vote becomes the deciding factor. The Big Brother All Stars live finale will be broadcast Tuesday, Sept. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Please post your predictions in the comment section below.
