September 19, 2006 11:01 PM by Joe Blackmon

The legendary Julio Iglesias sets foot on the "Dancing with the Stars" stage for the first time, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET) on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show." Singing "I Want to Know What Love Is" from his new album, "Romantic Classics," the Latin singer with the sultry voice will be accompanied by professional dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke as they perform a memorable Rumba. The celebrities will also step aside as eight of the professional dancers entertain the audience with a group jive to Billy Idol’s "Rebel Yell." In addition, Jordi Caballero and Claudia Velasco will showcase the Argentinean Tango to "Dance Away" by Roxy Music.

Having made her national television debut last week, everyday woman Tysonia Sichinga will be featured once again in the "Slim-Fast(r) Dance Challenge" segment of the show. This week we’ll see how Tysonia’s dancing skills and fitness have progressed as she tackles the Tango.

By evening’s end, the couple with the lowest score will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes. Who among the following ten teams will be dismissed from the competition?

Monique Coleman (star of Disney Channel’s "High School Musical") and partner Louis van Amstel
Sara Evans (country music star) and partner Tony Dovolani
Willa Ford (pop star) and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Vivica A. Fox (movie star) and partner Nick Kosovich
Harry Hamlin (film and TV star) and partner Ashly DelGrosso

Hosted by Tom Bergeron ("America’s Funniest Home Videos") and Samantha Harris ("E! Entertainment"), "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" airs WEDNESDAYS at 8:00 p.m., ET, following the "Dancing with the Stars" performance show on Tuesday nights.

Last Wednesday "Dancing With the Stars the Results Show" shot out of the gate with an average audience of 16.1 million viewers and a 4.1 rating, 12 share among Adults 18-49. Political analyst Tucker Carlson was the first dancer to be eliminated from the contest this season. The results show overshadowed its time period, beating its nearest competitors by 7.7 million viewers (Fox’s "Bones = 8.4 million) and by 37% in Adults 18-49 (CBS’ "Rock Star: Supernova" season finale = 3.0/9). In fact, the ABC unscripted program ranked No. 1 in its time slot across the board, including Total Viewers, each of key adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25/54), Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.

"Dancing with the Stars" is the U.S. version of the international smash hit series, "Strictly Come Dancing." This version is produced in America by BBC Worldwide. Conrad Green and Richard Hopkins are executive producers and Izzie Pick is co-executive producer. Rob Wade and Matilda Zoltowski are supervising producers. Alex Rudzinski directs.
