In the aftermath of last week’s tribal council, Cristina from the Raro tribe expressed her offense at being labeled annoying by Adam. On the Aitu tribe, Jonathan expressed admiration for Ozzy’s fishing ability but also worried that he was the biggest threat. Jonathan also got in an argument with Cao Boi over if they should bring the immunity idol to the reward challenge.
For the reward challenge, each tribe selected three people to hug a post. Then, two other tribe members had to try to remove one by one a person from the other tribe from the post and drag them to their finish line. Jeff Probst revealed that the winning tribe would get a feast but that both tribes would have to go to tribal council and vote someone out. The winning tribe would also get to watch the losing tribes tribal council. Aitu won the challenge.
On the Aitu tribe, Cao Boi came up with an idea that he called “Plan Voodoo.” Cao Boi suggested to Yul that they arrange a split vote between Jonathan and Candice that would force them to use the hidden immunity idol if either one of them had it. Meanwhile, Jonathan told Yul that they should take out Cao Boi next.
At the first tribal council, the Aitu tribe did not follow “Plan Voodoo” and instead voted out Cao Boi Bui. At the second tribal council, Jeff Probst introduced a new twist to the game. Probst told that Aitu tribe that they could kidnap one member of the Raro tribe. The kidnapped member would be safe from being voted off and would stay with their tribe through the next reward challenge. Aitu selected to kidnap Nate. The remaining members of the Raro tribe voted off Cristina Coria.
