Amazing Race All Stars Without Jonathan & Victoria?

January 01, 2007 02:12 AM by Joe Reality

Even though CBS hasn’t officially announced the teams participating in The Amazing Race All-Stars, some if not most of the teams have already been leaked by various news sources and Internet message boards.  Even though these names have been reported by multiple media sources, we wanted to include a potential spoiler warning to stop reading now if you don’t want to know.

Rob & Amber, David & Mary, and Joyce & Uchenna are three teams that were reported in Variety.  Other teams rumored to be in the mix on message boards such as Televisionwithoutpity.com include Kevin & Drew, Joe & Bill, Oswald & Danny, John Vito & Jill, Tian & Jaree, Charla & Mirna, Kris & Jon, Eric & Danielle, and Dustin & Kandice.

However, the biggest story might not be who the teams are participating, but which teams didn’t make the All Stars race.  BJ & Tyler, Chip & Kim, and Jonathan & Victoria are three of the more well-known teams that reportedly will not be on All Stars.  Reality TV Magazine recently caught up with Jonathan Baker to get his feedback on Amazing Race All Stars.

Reality TV Magazine:  Were you and Victoria contacted by CBS to be a part of the upcoming Amazing Race All-Stars?

Jonathan Baker:  We were in the running to do All Stars. Everyone involved and us agreed that the race came to close to the birth of Trease.  Even though we wanted to race we knew that the baby’s best interests needed to be looked after.  Nothing is more important than a new life.  We will for sure be ready to race on All Stars 2 with Chip and Kim, Colin and Christy, and the Hippies :)

Reality TV Magazine:  Do you agree with producers selecting all the teams or should they have let fans vote in some of the teams like with Big Brother All Stars?

Jonathan Baker:  I think All Stars needs to be just that All Stars so if all the team are competitive then I do not care who picks them.  I personally want the eye of the tiger in all and then set them lose on each other.  The drama will come from this.

Reality TV Magazine:  Can you tell us the names of any of the teams that are definitely participating?

Jonathan Baker:  I was traveling in December and to my surprise saw then final teams come in to the USA.  Because I am a fan of the show I will not be the one that puts any information out into the universe until the teams are announced.  At that time I will break down each team on www.RealityMinute.com.

Reality TV Magazine:  Even though you aren’t racing as part of Amazing Race All-Stars, are you participating in the show in some other way?

Jonathan Baker:  I was hoping this would happen but it did not for us.  I am doing Reality Minute and that will cover all involved and have some of the teams on as special guests.  Stay tuned to www.JonathanbakeandVictoriaFuller.com.

Reality TV Magazine:  Are there any other former racers participating in the show in some other way, perhaps being used as decoys by CBS to throw off fans who might spot the teams?

Jonathan Baker:  NO.

Reality TV Magazine: Who is your personal pick to win Amazing Race All-Stars?

Jonathan Baker:  I am a big fan of Dustin and Kandice for the win.  I hope Rob and Amber place top three, all others good luck.

Reality TV Magazine:  Is there anything else that you can tell us about Amazing Race All-Stars?

Jonathan Baker:  Well if it does not have Jonathan and Victoria, Colin and Christy, Chip and Kim, The Hippies, and Jon and Kris alongside Rob and Amber and Dustin and Kandice then it just is not Amazing Race All Stars.

Reality TV Magazine:  Since you & Victoria won’t be racing in All-Stars can you tell us what you have been up to recently?

Jonathan Baker:  Victoria will return on Bravo’s second season of Work Out, and I am in talks with the Surreal Life people.  We have our show about the baby airing in the spring; and myself, Victoria, and Trease will be returning for a third season on the Girls Next Door.  Three girls and a baby.  Last I do a radio show each week and it is podcasted on our site.  Please let VH1 know that we / I would be great on Surreal Life, thanks.  Send email good or bad asking for us.

And now my final predictions for 2007!!!
The winners of the Amazing Race All-Stars will be that bickering ASIAN couple, Pasha and Yimmi!!!
The Apprentice LA will fail miserable this season and seal that fading series fate. Donald Trump will cut loose in the boardroom and yell at inept contestants. Carolyn will reveal a secret which will change the course of the game!!!-for the worse!!
The winner: a bi-sexual construction worker will win Donald’s respect and the prize.
Big Brother 8 will top last season with all new twists and a house mixing young ‘uns and middle agers. Lots more drama and misery in store. Fans will go wild!!
Dancing wiht The Stars will grow in popularity with some wild new dance crazes thrown in.
The winners: OJ Simpson and Jessica Simpson!!!
Flav of Love will return with all new boxum cuties to raggle the taggly Flav and all the hysterics and foul-mouth nastiness! Audiences will make this a hit again. Prediction: Flav picks between Veda, a cocktail waitress and Wicked, whose name says it all!!
More as this Reality season flowers and budds!!

    Mike C

Your joke was not funny the first time.

Wow, Jonathan is the same delusional media whore from Season six. He needs to stop blaming his kid and accept that fans don’t want to see unfunny wife abuser on TV.
