Dancing With The Stars 4 Cast Revealed

January 22, 2007 10:40 PM by Joe Reality

TMZ.com has reported that they have learned the names of some of the
celebrities that are going to be part of the upcoming Dancing with the
Stars 4 cast.  The names of the four celebrities revealed by TMZ.com
are Billy Ray Cyrus, Ian Ziering, Laila Ali, and Joey Fatone.

Billy Ray Cyrus became famous in the early nineties for his hit country music single “Achy Breaky Heart.”  He is also an integral part of the history of the hairstyle known as the mullet.  In 2001, Billy Ray Cyrus moved from singing to acting as the star of the TV Show “Doc.”  Billy Ray Cyrus is now perhaps best known as Miley Cyrus’ dad on the Disney Show “Hannah Montana.”  Since Disney owns ABC, the network where Dancing with the Stars airs, Billy Ray Cyrus’ casting will likely mean lots of cross-promotion.

Ian Ziering is best known for playing the role of Steve Sanders in the TV show Beverly Hills 90120.  Laila Ali is a woman boxer and the daughter of former world heavyweight champion boxer Muhammad Ali.  Joey Fatone is best known for having been a member of the song and dance group ‘N Sync.  Joey Fatone’s participation in Dancing with the Stars was also previously reported on the website Realityblurred.com

TMZ.com also revealed some celebrities who would not be participating on Dancing with the Stars 4. Sarah Ferguson, Sharon Osbourne, and Kelly Osbourne had all been rumored to be participating, but TMZ.com says they will not be a part of the cast.  The cast has not been officially verified by ABC, which at this point is not commenting.  The only thing known for sure is that Dancing with the Stars 4 premieres on March 19, 2007.

I really hope they do not cast Heather Mills (McCartney) on Dances With The Stars. I am an avide fan of the show and would make it my lifes work to get her off the TV as quickly as possible. I can promise if she does get on the show, I will leave the room while she performs. I refuse to give her another moment of fame. My loyalty is with Paul.

I heard about the Heather Mills thing too. WTF????? She is most definately NOT a star! My first inclination when I heard this is to not bother watching this new season. However, if this is true, I predict she is the first one voted off. Who would vote for that goldigging non-star?

If she had any class at all she would lay low and then develop her own claim to fame herself. Instead she appears to be capitalizing on Paul’s good name. Hopefully she will take the 49 mil he’s offered and go away quitely. Goldigger “stars” tend to burn out quickly. Wouldn’t you hate to be famous because you’re infamous and not because you earned it?

Ok, I may owe Miss Mills an apology. According to SirLinksAlot her attorney has stated she is not going to appear on Dancing With The Stars, calling the story rubbish. Boy I hope thats true. If so, I am sorry I assumed the worst. I will keep happy thoughts, wishing Miss Mills all the best.

Ian and Cheryl get my vote! They always look fantastic and give every dance their 100%. Ian is not a professional dancer like Joey Fatone, or a professional athlete like Apolo or Laila, so he comes to the show at a disadvantage to them. But yet he stays up with them in talent. A week ago he received six straight “9s” from the judges, so he definitely has the potential to win. I hope he surprises everyone by giving us his best performances in the next two weeks and capturing the trophy. If you like Ian and Cheryl, please do your part to vote for them on Monday — vote 4 times for each phone number and 4 times online. Also, Ian has really cool videos on his websites at http://www.IanZiering.com and http://www.MySpace.com/OfficialIZ and there you can sign up to receive his fun email blasts.
