America’s Most Wanted Tackles Teen Dating Violence

February 03, 2007 12:02 AM by Joe Reality

In 20 seasons of groundbreaking reality television, FOX’s AMERICA’S
MOST WANTED has never been afraid to take on the country’s most
dangerous fugitives and empower crime victims to fight back. Now, in a
special episode airing Saturday, Feb. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX,
AMW tackles an issue that many victims are afraid to talk about: teen
dating violence.

It’s estimated that one out of every four American teens experiences some kind of abuse in his or her romantic relationships. And one out of three knows someone who has been physically abused by his or her partner. Yet, tragically, many teenagers caught in a devastating cycle of dating violence are too afraid or embarrassed to report the abuse – or, even worse, don’t realize that it is abuse.

In this special episode of AMERICA’S MOST WANTED, host John Walsh aims to raise awareness of the issue and empower both teens and their parents to get help. Walsh taped the show at a high school near Austin, TX – a city that knows the dangers of teen dating violence. The program will include a segment about the murder of 15-year-old Ortralla Mosley, an Austin high school student who was stabbed to death at school by her 16-year-old boyfriend when she tried to break off their relationship. In addition to the information Walsh will provide in the broadcast, the AMW website, www.amw.com, will offer parents and teenagers tips about danger signs to look for, and ways they can get help.

AMERICA’S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK is produced by STF Productions, Inc. Lance Heflin is executive producer.

Please read this information below . It prevent most of these problems from coming up in young and older women.

    Let’s Meet Concept, defined
Let’s Meet will have a prodigious TV audience with ten of millions of viewers watching at the same time with more participation than the Internet because of the innovative safe platform designed to deter date rapes which is the most significant source of crime that the new Internet technology has brought into our lives. Now finding romance is as easy as turning on your TV and turning off your computer if it isn’t already off in need of repair like most.
Let’s Meet has a built in feature that is meant to intimidate. The mere design of the public domain like TV is a built in feature that will stop a bad element of people from joining that we really don’t want to join anyway. Let’s Meet TV Show is like Americas Most Wanted Show but in reverse. The pure innovative design of the concept is meant as a deterrent to keep dishonest people from joining and only showcase people who want to meet other good people like themselves that have already joined.
The rest won’t join because of the bio-metric fingerprint mapping and because of the thorough screening process too! A person who has a police record or outstanding warrant for one’s arrest won’t put their face on television, it would be too risky. A married man or married woman wouldn’t show themselves on Let’s Meet unless they wanted to be caught red handed dating singles by a spouse.
Let’s Meet will self generate and grow like a domino effect and will be the home shopping network for singles just like QVC, Value Vision and Home Shopping Network. There are know games or entertainment value only fun & excitement picking who they want to meet and bring into their lives.
We will be showcasing singles to tens of millions of people once we are nationwide. I predict that LM will most likely run 24 hours a day like QVC once we have franchises in every major city in the US. The TV viewers’ will tune in to watch Let’s Meet with their TV remote controls during those long commercial breaks. Let’s Meet won’t spam e-mails like Internet dating sites do, nor will you ever see a Let’s Meet pop up ads on your computer either. While people are drooling over these nice looking singles they will be listening to beautiful romantic instrumental music. You’ll never know when someone might get discovered like on Star Search or American Idol.
Let’s Meet is truly the first and only interactive TV Show in the world. As a member you contact any single that is showcased on the show.
People may also watch a simulcast viewing of the entire show over the Internet 24 hours a day. Only LM members will also be able to download any portraits from our website.
I have contacted the entire Women’s Coalition organization nationwide.
They all need to stay focused on being proactive and implement preventive measures like Let’s Meet.
The coalition directors have to ban together and work as team to contact news media and lobby with the politicians in their respective state government this coming 2007 and to formulate a new effective strategy otherwise all women will be at very high risk especially perusing men on the Internet. We must to put an end to this now. If a state government or NOW can’t raise the money for this project I personally feel the only other avenue to pursue is to put pressure on the big cash cows (money makers) like e-Harmony, Match.Com True .Com or Perfect Match.Com and try to persuade one of them to change their marketing strategy. Together they are all making millions of dollars daily on our biological necessity to find love and companionship.
Since 1996 with the advent of Internet computer dating, date rapes and murders of women have escalated dramatically along with married people posing as singles, money scams to identity fraud and killings. There are hundreds of dating sites because it is inexpensive for anyone to buy specially designed software on the Internet for building dating websites.
All dating sites have the same inherent problems with a common denominator, dishonest people lying about everything and anything. The owners all choose to use Internet because it is an inexpensive forum not designed for the overall public and most times less than honest people that the Internet sites all cater to because of the all mighty dollar.
Look whats’ happening on MySpace, You Tube, Friendster blogs, Face Book and Yahoo’s Lovebeats and now Oomph from the Oxagen Cable TV Channel. How can these companies be so stupid? These sites are a breeding ground for disasters to happen. Can you believe that Google bought You Tube for 1.6 billion dollars and News Corp. bought MySpace for 580 Million dollars even after all the bad news media publicity and numerous law suits from the reported date rapes, beatings and murders?
Internet Cyber Space problems have been increasing at a very high rate. Many more thousands of women are going to be raped, losing their dignity or even worse being killed. As high as one in every four women might be in a possible rape situation or worse, so I can’t over emphasize this enough.
We don’t even know about the thousands of unreported cases. Most women don’t even report being raped. When is this going to stop?
Only through putting Let’s Meet on television can we start being proactive in preventing more women from getting raped or worse.
There is only one other way to stop these types of horrific crimes besides getting Let’s Meet on TV, that would be to ban all the dating from the Internet.
Porn is another hot topic with only one consolation; nobody gets raped or killed from watching although it will break up a marriage or spice it up!
Recently on CNBC News they did a big story about E-Bay trafficking stolen merchandise from all over the US. Thousands of people are selling millions of dollars worth of stolen property from baby diapers to gasoline generators, water heaters, air conditioners new men’s suits, baby formula, watches and anything you can think of. They showed video tapes of people changing the bar codes and shoplifting everything under the sun. If they go to the check out they pay very little then go and put the new items on E-bay for under wholesale cost. One convicted shoplifter on CNBC last night said he made about fifty thousand dollars a month from E-Bay selling the stolen merchandise. He didn’t take it to a pawn shops because it is too dangerous since they have to give ID and finger prints and everything is on record.
E-Bay isn’t stopping chill bidding nor are they disclosing information about all there suspicious clients because of the all the privacy laws. E-Bay seems to be perfect fence protecting these thieves.
Since the advent of the Internet scams, we the tax paying citizens of the United States are all paying the price since thousands of complaints are coming in daily to all the attorney general offices nationwide. All our states have encumbered the extra expense to have cyber crime divisions, electronic technology crimes divisions and special computer crime and Identity theft bureaus. We now have the extra expense also to prosecute these criminals in our courts. Who is paying for this? “We are!”
I ask you, is the Internet worth it with all the scams and spam?
