Nashville Star 5 Finale & Wrap Party Exclusive
March 04, 2007 05:03 AM by Joe Reality
Reality TV Magazine recently attended the Nashville Star 5 finale &
wrap party at the invitation of one of the show’s producers. For anyone who
ever gets the chance to visit Nashville while Nashville Star is airing, we
would suggest putting attending a taping of the show at the Acuff Theatre at the top of your
must-to-do list.
Having attended several TV tapings in the past, we can tell you that there is nothing quite like attending the taping of a live music competition show. Watching the show’s directors and cast pull together the show is akin to watching a chief conductor lead a symphony orchestra. Every single moment of the show has to coordinated and carried out to absolute perfection to bring the show in on time.
As we reported previously, Angela Hacker won the title of Nashville Star over her brother Zac Hacker, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Zac ultimately winds up with a record deal too. In addition to being great singers, these two siblings also appear to be excellent original song writers. Angela’s “Losing You Is Not A Total Loss” and Zac’s “If It Wasn’t For The Whiskey” both have the potential to become major hit country songs.
After the live Nashville Star finale, Reality TV Magazine attended the official Nashville Star wrap party that was held just across the street from the Acuff Theatre at the Gibson Showcase. The wrap party was catered by Rainforest CafÃ. Several of the contestants from the show and some of the judges stopped by to mingle with everyone in attendance. Included with this article are our exclusive pictures from the event, which also featured performances by several of the ten finalists. Update: For those of you wondering where you can find the company that made the great looking (and as we can attest also very tasty) Nashville Star cake, they are a company called Dream Big Specialty Cakes out of Kentucky.

That is SOME cake. Talented people are definitely involved in producing a cake such as this.
