On the third episode of The Bachelor An Officer And A Gentleman, the
remaining twelve women take part in boot camp. During the rigorous
boot camp training, Bevin breaks her ankle. Andy Baldwin comes rushing
out to take care of Bevin. Before Bevin is whisked away in an
ambulance, Andy gives her a rose.
For the first group date, Andy took Stephanie from Kansas, Amber, Nicole, Tina, and Stephanie from South Carolina to a mud spa. Andy selected Stephanie from Kansas to spend alone time with him, and she wound up giving him a massage. Bevin returned from the hospital on crutches and showed the other women a watch that Andy gave her.
For the second group date, Andy took Kate, Danielle, Erin, and Amanda to drive race cars. Each of the women drove a course and competed for the fastest time. Andy asked Erin to spend alone time with him, and they took a drive together. Andy asked Erin to come out of her shell a little more.
For the two on one date, Andy took Tessa and Peyton on a Navy battle ship. Only one of them would get a rose on the date, and the other one would be going home. After giving Tessa and Peyton a tour of the ship, Andy dined with the two of them on the deck of the ship. Andy gave the rose to Tessa and flew away with her in a helicopter, and Peyton was eliminated from the competition.
At the rose ceremony, Andy gave roses to Amber, Danielle, Stephanie from Kansas, Tina, Kate, Nicole, and Stephanie from South Carolina. The women eliminated from the competition were Amanda and Erin. Erin said “I put myself out there as much as I could at this point, and you know, it wasn’t enough.” Amanda said “I’m shocked, like it doesn’t make sense at all. I don’t understand why I’m leaving so soon.”
