Former female wrestler Sandra Scott and owner of Old West Bail Bonds, is a happily married mother of two who lives in the sunny suburbs of Phoenix. Tough, saucy and beautiful, Sandra heads a team of hunters that features Ron, her fun-loving, high-spirited husband who also moonlights as an electrician and J.D., a massive 6′ 6″ ex-semi professional football player who has earned Black Belts in numerous Martial Arts disciplines and is known as “The Wall;” but, Sandra’s life isn’t all glamorous perp hunting! She also has kids to raise and daily, prickly family issues to resolve. In addition to Ron, her family includes her 15-year-old daughter Sabree, a typical teenager who loves cheerleading and has a flair for histrionics; and Ever Skye, her 6-year-old baby girl, who simply is a dream.
When she’s away from housework and the kitchen stove, Sandra is on the prowl and ready to exert serious girl power! In the world of crime and punishment, a bail bondsman posts a bond to secure someone’s freedom. If that person misses their court date, the bondsman has a set amount of time to produce the fugitive or lose the investment. That’s when they reach out to licensed bounty hunters like Sandra, for help. Sandra’s fee for finding and returning a skip is usually 10-15% of the bond. And, if all of that isn’t enough, Sandra works as a private investigator for hire on the side, specializing in domestic cases.
In the first episode we meet Sandra Scott – a tough-as-nails bounty hunter who somehow manages to balance this nitty-gritty life with that of a stay-at-home mom and loving wife. Sandra’s day starts out like any other suburban mom’s – cooking breakfast for her teenage daughter Sabree, getting her husband Ron out the door for work, cleaning the house and feeding the dogs. But that’s where the similarities end. After a trip to the gun store, it’s off to work when she catches the lead on a “skip” – a criminal who has jumped bail. But after hours of surveillance, she must return to her job as mother to pick up her daughter, Ever-Skye when she arrives from California to spend the weekend with the family. Not for long! Bounty hunting duty calls right in the middle of Ever-Skye’s birthday party, and Sandra must get back on the case to track down Victoria, who’s wanted for possession of dangerous drugs. It’s a constant game of cat and mouse and Sandra is no stranger to the danger. But once again mother-duty returns: Sandra must break heart-wrenching news to Sabree about a beloved pet. Later, Sandra teams up with her husband, who’s also a bounty hunter, to track down yet another fugitive. At the end of the day, can Sandra successfully execute ALL of her jobs?
