In the fourth episode of Hell’s Kitchen 3, Chef Ramsay challenged the
aspiring chefs to a taste test. The women’s red team won the challenge
for the third straight time. For their reward, the women got to share
a dining experience with Chef Ramsay. For their punishment, the men’s
team had to spend the day prepping for both kitchens and had to taste a
platter of disgusting foods.
For the dinner service, Chef Ramsay informed the aspiring chefs that comment cards from customers would determine the winning team. In the blue kitchen, Chef Ramsay jumped on Josh for doing nothing. Chef Ramsay yelled at Vinnie for not cooking the Wellington properly. Customers served by the blue kitchen also complained about salty fish and raw spaghetti. In the red kitchen, Chef Ramsay got wound up over Bonnie fixing dry chicken.
After the dinner service, Chef Ramsay said that over sixty-five percent of their customers said they wouldn’t come back because the food took too long to get to the table. Chef Ramsay said there was no such thing as a winning team tonight. Chef Ramsay asked Rock to nominate one person from his team and asked Jen to nominate one person from her team. Rock nominated Josh, and Jen nominated Melissa. Chef Ramsay told Rock and Jenn that they clearly didn’t nominate the worst performer, and they had both been overruled.
Chef Ramsay nominated Vinnie and Bonnie instead. When Chef Ramsay asked Vinnie for reasons he should keep him, Vinnie claimed he was the most qualified chef there. On the other hand, Bonnie claimed that she was learning from her mistakes. Chef Ramsay selected Vinnie to leave Hell’s Kitchen. Vinnie said “I can’t do what he does. He’s got years of experience on me. He knows what oysters and caviar taste like from Japan, and he knows what spices from India are like, and I don’t know that. There’s a lot of things that I would like to do over, but the reality is that, you know, there is no second chances in Hell’s Kitchen.”
