Hell’s Kitchen Results – Chef Ramsay Eliminates No One

July 02, 2007 10:43 PM by Joe Blackmon

HellskitchenweddingIn the fifth episode of Hell’s Kitchen 3, Chef Ramsay charged the
aspiring chefs with preparing food for a wedding reception.  The chefs
were only given one hundred dollars to shop for the ingredients and had
only one hour to prepare their dishes.  In the red kitchen, Melissa
tried to take charge and clashed with the other women.  Melissa put the
duck back in the oven and wound up overcooking it.

Instead of Chef Ramsay judging the dishes prepared by the men’s and women’s kitchens, the bride and groom judged the food.  Melissa said that she didn’t think they should serve the couple their food, but Chef Ramsay told her to do as she was told.  The men’s team wound up winning the taste test because of the overcooked duck from the women’s team.  For their reward, the men received a day at a luxury spa.  For their punishment, the women had to do the decorating for the wedding reception.

During the dinner service for the wedding reception, Melissa messed up the potatoes, so the women’s team had to remake them from scratch.  In the blue kitchen, the men’s team was late in getting the appetizers out to the bride and groom.

For the first time, Hell’s Kitchen completed service for everyone in the dining room.  As a wedding present, Chef Ramsay gave the bride and groom a luxury suite at the Green Valley Ranch Resort.  Chef Ramsay selected the men’s team as the winning team, because they completed their service first.  Chef Ramsay picked Jen as the best cook on the losing women’s team and asked her to nominate two other women for elimination.

Jen nominated Melissa because she tried to blame everyone else for her mistakes and Bonnie because she wasn’t on point in past services.  Melissa said she should stay in Hell’s Kitchen because she’s been doing it for ten years and knows a lot of things.  Bonnie said that she should stay in Hell’s Kitchen because the chef inside her was just starting to emerge.  In a surprise move, Chef Ramsay told Melissa to give him her jacket that she was going to the men’s team.  Then, Chef Ramsay told Bonnie to get back in line with the women’s team.  Even though Chef Ramsay eliminated no one, he gave Melissa the warning that this was her very last chance.
