On the fourth episode of Age of Love, the younger women moved in with
the older women. For the first competition, all the women competed in
a triathlon to reach a yacht with Mark Philippoussis. The first three
women to the yacht got to stay with Mark. Tessa injured her ankle and
had to be taken away in an ambulance.
Jayanna finished first, Amanda finished second, and Kelli finished third. The three women each got to spend part of a meal with Mark on the yacht. For the second competition, the older women played tennis against the younger women. The forty-something women won the tennis match. However, Mark selected twenty-something Tessa to have dinner with him because he was impressed that she played on an injured ankle.
At dinner, Tessa told Mark that Amanda had really strong feelings for him, which Mark felt was awkward. Before he made his elimination decision, Mark called all the ladies down to meet with him one-on-one. At the elimination ceremony, Mark eliminated Tessa and Kelli. Tessa said “There’s not very many guys that have his level of sensitivity. I know they’re out there. I just had one in front of me that was willing and wanted that connection as well, and it just wasn’t there.” Kelli said “I definitely was not prepared for my name to be called at this point. I thought I was in the top of this. Getting blindsided isn’t fun. I don’t need to be reminded of my age. I know how old I am everyday, and I know I’ve been single my whole life every day. Nobody wants to get hurt. I put my emotions out tonight, and I’m a little hurt.”
