Big Brother 8 – Daniele Wins Power Of Veto

July 10, 2007 09:02 PM by Joe Blackmon

Bb8_danielepovAfter the first Big Brother 8 nominations, Amber became very upset
about being put up on the block.  Amber couldn’t believe that Kail
would put someone else with kids up for elimination.  On the other
hand, Carol is very nonchalant about being nominated and doesn’t want
to campaign.  However, Carol does eventually ask Zach for his help in
staying in the house.

Evil Dick opened up to Kail about his relationship with his son and his daughter.  Nick flirted with several of the women in the house.  Jen told some of the other houseguests that Nick tried to make out with her, and Joe went and told Nick.  Nick confronted Jen and said it was a lie.  Jen later apologized to Nick in the storage room.

Carol, Nick, Kail, Daniele, Amber, and Jameka competed in the power of veto competition, while Jessica hosted the competition.  The power of veto competition was called “Hide And Seek” and involved the houseguests hiding and then looking for vetoes.  Daniele hid her veto the best and won the first power of veto competition.

For his America’s Player choice, Eric had to make up a tragic story to tell Kail.  Eric told Kail that he had a girlfriend in high school with a serious eating disorder.  At the power of veto ceremony, Carol said she wasn’t ready to go home yet and Amber said she should be taken off the block because she was enjoying her time in the house.  However, Daniele decided not to use the power of veto.  For his next America’s Player choice, viewers will get to tell Eric which of the two nominated houseguests that he should vote to kick out of the house.

I want Amber out. She doesn’t seem competent enough for a game like Big Brother.
