Big Brother – Jen Wins Power Of Veto, Mike Goes On The Block

July 24, 2007 10:52 PM by Joe Blackmon

After Dick nominated Jen and Kail for elimination, the power of veto competition was an endurance challenge.  The last two standing were Dick and Jen.  Dick tried to convince Jen that she was safe and that she should let him win.  However, Jen wouldn’t bite because she knew the power of veto was the only way to guarantee her safety.

In one of the worst moves in Big Brother history, Mike tried to distract Dick so that he wouldn’t win power of veto.  Dick warned Mike that he was going up if Jen took herself off the block, but Mike kept on.  Finally, Dick got frustrated, quit the competition, and told Mike that he was going up.

Dick became upset that he thought that Nick, Zach, and Jen were planning an alliance in his head-of-household room.  Nick told Dick that he hated Zach and Jen and wasn’t in an alliance with them.  Nick said that he liked Dick’s daughter.  Daniele got angry at Dick for upsetting everyone else in the house.

At the power of veto ceremony, Kail said she would never even consider asking Jen to use the power of veto on her because Jen worked hard for it and deserved it.  Jen used the power of veto to take herself off the block.  For the replacement nominee, Dick nominated Mike to go on the block.  The America’s Player choice for this week allows viewers to vote on which of the two nominees that Eric should try to get voted out of the house.

Also, on the showtime feed last night, I spied EvilDick reading a letter, did it come from home in his basket of goodies or was it from Daniele??? It started out “richard” so it didnt look like it was from Dani, .. ?

Did he get a “dear john” letter on television ?

    Anyone else see that ?

(kathy)- yes I got to cheer for them both, not that I did, lol…

Hi, Trixie! I didn’t get to see the Showtime feed last night (Wednesday) but I remember previously hearing Dick refer to a letter from his mother where she called him Richard. I assumed, too, that that probably came in his basket of goodies. Any preference on whether or not you want Kail or Mike removed? I would rather see Kail go home but I think Mike might be a stronger player so they might be better off sending him home first. If someone other than Kail or Jen — I’m not sure about Zach — gets HOH, I would expect either Kail or Jen or both to be back on the block.
