Reality TV Series “Nashville” hits the young Nashville music scene on the head. Very superficial, very immature, very all about drama drama drama. After living in Nashville for nearly 7 years and once a part of this lovely music scene, I can honestly say that this show has hit close to home. All the blonde bombshells, being so friendly, while not so secretly wishing the other would trip and fall or get hit by a semi truck, is a scene that is all too real and familiar to me. Everyone comes to Nashville for making it big. The cast….all aspiring to be the next somebody…misses the point of what dreams are made of. Rachel…she looks really familiar to me…oh yeah…she is Holly & Molly’s triplet from Sunset Tan. She brings the true meaning of the “Dumb Blonde”. She loves Clint, she hates Clint. She loves to hate Clint. Hello…I am so glad I wasn’t that dumb and superficial at her age. Mika…she is trying to fit in anyway she can. While possibly having a future career in yoddling or hog calling, she seems true to herself, but is willing to do whatever it takes to make it big in the not so big city of Nashville. She seems more worried about her image than focusing on her talent. Chuck & Heather….now they seem a bit down to Earth. Matt is just too nice for thier own good. Overall rating for this show…TANK IT. It really depicts the stereotype of the “slow talkin’ must be dumb” southerner. This show truly makes me feel like I need to defend the mentality level and maturity level of living in Nashville.
