On the Last Comic Standing two-hour season finale, finalists Lavell
Crawford and Jon Reep will be roasted by fellow comics. The roasters
will include renowned roaster Jeffrey Ross, top 10 finalist Doug Benson
and talent scout and season three winner Alonzo Bodden. The Last Comic
Standing finale will air on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 9:00 to
11:00 PM ET.
In addition to the roast, Lavell and Jon will be reunited with the other top 10 finalists and the talent scouts. The show will include vignettes, challenge highlights, and performances by special guest comedians. There will also be a surprise appearance by Dane Cook, who appears in the film "Good Luck Chuck.”
After having endured grueling challenges and several voting rounds, either Lavell Crawford or Jon Reep will claim the coveted title of "last comic standing." The winner will receive the grand prize of $250,000, an exclusive talent contact with NBC Universal and his or her own half-hour comedy special on Bravo.
Last Comic Standing is hosted by Bill Bellamy, and Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan traveled the world as talent scouts. Auditions were held in London, Montreal, Sydney, Australia, Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Tempe. "Last Comic Standing" is produced by Peter Engel Productions, Magical Elves and NBC Universal Television Studio.
