Better Half Premieres On Bravo

October 03, 2007 12:04 AM by Joe Blackmon

Better Half, a new reality competition series, is a battle of the
sexes.  In the premiere episode, Ellen and Sarah (a gemologist and a
bartender) take on their partner’s job.  Their partners are two top New
York professional chefs.

With only two days of training, the couples will have to compete in the ultimate culinary competition for a chance to win $20,000.  With the grand prize on the line and just two days to teach their "better half" how to fillet, fry, broil, bake, slice, dice and spice, professional chefs Paolo and Kyle cut it close.

When the time comes for the amateurs to face-off and serve a dining room full of hungry diners and three famous foodie judges (Gael Greene, food writer and New York magazine columnist; Donatella Arpaia, restaurateur and food expert; and Harold Dieterle, season one winner of Bravo’s "Top Chef"), one must get burned, and the other will be named "The Better Half."

The Better Half premieres on Wednesday, October 3rd at 11:15 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
