American Princess 2 Season Finale

October 07, 2007 12:08 AM by Joe Blackmon

The second season finale of American Princess will air on WEtv on
Sunday, October 7 at 10:00PM ET/PT. Three girls have made it to the
final week of the competition, but only one of them will be crowned the
American Princess, with a glittering tiara at a ball thrown in her
honor.

The remaining contestants include: Clarissa, an outgoing former beauty pageant contestant from Bronx, NY; Cassie, a theater major from Longview, TX; and Jasmine, a punk rocker from Orlando, FL. At stake is a $50,000 cash prize, a $5,000 diamond necklace from Kwiat and a real British title of Lady of the Manor of Netherhall.

The girls begin their whirlwind week with a waltzing lesson from one of the world’s top ballroom dancers, Anton du Beke; a dress fitting with top designer, Jacques Azagury; a date with a beau and a letter from the prince. On the eve of the ball, each girl makes a final plea to the judges -Paul Burrell and Jean Broke-Smith – explaining why she should be chosen.

One day while I was browsing the cable channel, I ran into this show.

I thought it was going to be like a pageant show that would be very exciting and fun to watch.

But a few minutes into it, I was so horrified to change the channel.

The show was crammed full with very ugly young girls who were rowdy, loud, obnoxious and repulsive.

To me it seemed like not just an insult but a slap in the face.

Why are many TV show producers delight in producing very vulgar and repulsive shows these days????
