On the Fei Long tribe, Jean-Robert yelled at Courtney to warn her about
touching a pot handle that he thought was hot, and she got upset with
him raising his voice at her. On the Zhan Hu tribe, castaways had to
get rid of some of their rice that had mold. Dave and Sherea got in a
dispute over shells.
The reward challenge involved carrying fireballs with two giant chopsticks and dropping them down a chute to set off fireworks. Fei Long won the reward challenge. For their reward, a fisherman and his family came to their camp and taught them how to fish and brought them spices and vegetables. Fei Long also got to kidnap one member of Zhan Hu, and they selected Dave.
Dave gave a hidden immunity idol clue to Todd. Clue number three said “When creatures of night take flight as they may, a treasure they carry allows one to stay.” The immunity challenge involved teams throwing meteor hammers to try to break vases, while the opposing team tried to block the meteor hammers. Fei Long won the immunity challenge.
At tribal council, Sherea said that they were still able to get things done while Dave was gone. Sherea admitted to being very fatigued, but she said she was trying to do more. After the votes were cast, Jeff Probst revealed that Dave Cruser was the fourth person voted out of Survivor China. Dave said “I gave it my all, perhaps I gave it too much. At least I did it with conviction and integrity. I thought I was humble, and I thought I listened. I wish that perhaps some people listened to me a little bit more, and I know that there are pieces of me that are worth a lot, perhaps even priceless.”
