Is Dancing With The Stars Cursed With Bad Eliminations?

October 31, 2007 10:14 PM by Joe Blackmon

BadeliminationsSome in the media have speculated that this season of Dancing with the
Stars might be cursed.  The speculation mainly arises out of some of
the misfortune that has befallen some cast members and some celebrity
guests.  For example, Jane Seymour missed one of the results show when
her mother passed away, and Gloria Estefan missed a scheduled
performance when her mother had to undergo emergency surgery.

Another example offered up as proof of the curse is Marie Osmond fainting after one of her performances.  Jane Seymour missing the most recent results show because of suspected food poisoning will also likely become another component of the curse theory.

Whether the death, surgery, fainting, and illness that have hit this season of Dancing with the Stars are part of a curse or not, there is another way that this season certainly seems cursed.  For the second time, there has been a shocking and unexpected elimination.  Earlier in the season, Albert Reed was eliminated, even though he seemed to be off to a promising start.  Many Dancing with the Stars viewers were outraged that Albert went before Wayne Newton, who they perceived to have not done as well in the competition.

The most recent shocking elimination occurred when Sabrina Bryan was eliminated.  Earlier in the season, Sabrina Bryan became the first contestant on Dancing with the Stars 5 to receive a perfect score.  Fans are once again outraged and questioning how Sabrina could have been eliminated before Jane Seymour and Marie Osmond, who received lower scores from the judges.  Could the curse on Dancing with the Stars be that bad eliminations are taking place?  Post your opinion in the comments section below.

Personally, I’m glad she got eliminated. She’s basically already a dancer, considering her “heavy dance and sing” manufactured pop-girl-group put together by Disney. She didn’t deserve to be on Dancing with the Stars. She’s had years of dance training, and that’s as good as she can dance?

Dancing With the Stars is not “cursed,” but it may be rigged. This inequity of Sabrina going home is not okay. Either the votes were miscounted, the ABC producers “fixed” it for her to go, or the viewers are insane and dumb. Never should the viewer’s votes have been given the same value as the fabulous 3 judges’. What a slap in the face to Carrie Ann, Len and Bruno, not to mention Sabrina. The viewers must protest by writing, calling and boycotting.
Unless they bring Sabrina back for a dance off, I’m going back to Larry King on Monday nights to protest this corruption. Shame on ABC. Maybe this needs to be the last season of DWTS.

Sabrina being voted off is truely ridiculous. She was if not one of the best dancer on there. I like marie and jane do not get me wrong but to stay over sabrina is absurd. And whoever posted about how sabrina should have never been on there is equally absurd. she is a POP dancers not a ball room. Everyone of these people have never done ball room dancing it is a completeing different element. Anything that you think or thought you may know about dancing does means nothing when it comes to ball room. I agree a boy cott should take place. Again no offense to marie and jane or even cameron but sabrina should still be in the competition.

I believe it is FIXED b/c she was most definately the best dancer on the show and I will no longer watch, as I was a follower of the show each week. Now there is no reason to watch since the best is already out. THEY NEED TO HAVE A RECOUNT, DANCE OFF OR SOMETHING!!

  5. Sheldon Says:

Her contract must have been up? We will not watch the show anymore. The producers could have fixed it. It is probably just a ploy to get the public mad so they will call in more vote in future weeks. I wonder how the monies are split from the calls?
    PROTEST – DO NOT WATCH

Hahahaha! You people and your “Boycotts.” I’ll bet ALL of you continue to watch… or at most your boycotts will last only a week.

Anyway, total BS that Sabrina was eliminated.

Sabrina is the reason why I watched so I guess I will have to turn to Fox. I liked Albert Reed too. Corruption or not, it’s plain retarded because Jane and Marie were both terrible. It shouldn’t be a popularity contest, but that is what it is. It’s a shame.

How was she not the best dancer. People are voting for who they like, not talent. Like Wayne Newton should’ve been the 2nd to go. He was terrible and laste wayyyy too long

Anyway, I’m glad that I was introduced to Sabrina Bryan and I think she sends a real positive message to girls. And I promise, I will no longer watch I hope there is a real boycott and that they report it, because the show is gonna be blah now…

    Just my opinion

The only ones who can really pull it now is Cameron and that croatian girl! i’m sorry for sabrina too, but I’ll continue to watch..but if cameron and the croatian girl are gonna be out too, i’ll definetely turn on wb 20 and watch cheaters that is 100%. the old ones like marie or jane cannot win at least i hope not!!! to much regulations, that don’t make sense, the same as Amercan Idol’. But what can you do???Nada, nothing.

I must agree that this was a shocker. I can’t see how she was eliminated unless her fan base was just too secure in her continuing that they didn’t take the time to vote for her. I also agree that this show is too much of a popularity contest and that the judges scores should take up at least two thirds of the final score. I read on another post that the majority of the voters were older and therefore preferred the older dancers. I don’t agree with this hypothisis as I’m 62 years old and from the beginning have believed that the final should be between her and Helio. As much as I like seeing the “older” competitors advance I often believe that they have done so without merit. ‘nuf said!!!

it is a shocker to see Sabrina eliminated from the show…She had a perfect score in the beginning of the series and all of the sudden she is out! very disappointing….very unfair…. I guess I have to switched program and boycott the show.

I feel the voting from home doesn’t help very much. When Mario and Katria Smirnoff were in the competition I voted 5 times for them and they still did’nt win.

  14. Wayne Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 7:47 am

What happened Tuesday night is a travesty and seriously diminishes the credibility of the show. If it is just a popularity contest there is no point in watching it. The formula for balancing the judge’s votes with the popular voting should be altered immediately or most people will stop watching. Also what was behind the fact that when they started the second round of telling whether the next two couples were safe or in the bottom two, they backed off when they got to Osmond and then came back with a different format after the commercial. We will continue to watch as long as there is some correlation between ability and success but not if it will continue to be a popularity contest. It almost seemed as though some group was making a mockery of the show.

  15. Maureen Says:

Obviously any dance training will beneftit a contestant on this show, so some stars will excel. I realize that some older viewers have loyalties to certain older stars, but are they blind???? Even my 80 year old mother-in-law (who loves the oldies) can see that Sabrina was a far better competitor than Marie Osmond, Jane Seymour or Wayne Newton!

  16. Tee Says:

I really do not know what’s going on. This is becoming a joke… I love the ballroom dancing. To see everyday people turn themselves into a ballroom dancer is excited. It really make you want to go and take lesson. I really liked watching the show and I am not going to watch it anymore. I know ballroom dancing is more for people who really understand the art of dancing. It is sad that people voted for the wrong people for the wrong. I like Jane and Marie but they are not great dancer. Sabrina is a young lady that know hip hop and turn herself into a beautiful woman. That’s what ballroom dancing is about. Sabrina, you won that contest and that’s coming from a woman in her 40’s that loves the art of dancing.

  17. Jerry Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 8:16 am

Blame Len and Bruno for Sabrina. They only gave Sabrina an “8″ on Monday. Carrie Ann gave her an “9″. Although she had a misstep, Sabrina’s performance was better than most and deserved a higher score than “8″!!!!

  18. Gerri Says:

I’ve always loved ballroom dancing;and was thrilled when the show started. This season, so far however, has been rediculous. Wayne Newton doesn’t know his right foot from his left foot; and should have been one of the first to go. Sabrina is about as professional as she can be without being a professional. She’s a pleasure to watch. I’m very disappointed this season. I think that it’s time to retire DANCING WITH THE STARS already. Thanks for listening!!!!

Yes sadly I must agree; this is a popularity contest. My only sugestion is that viewers don’t get to relaxed. Now we all know that everyone must vote. Don’t take anything or anyone for granted with these reality shows. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!! One more thing; try not to take it too serious. Afterall, it’s only entertainment.

I am 68 years old and adore the Osmonds, however, Marie is NOT a dancer. She and Jane were fun to watch for a couple weeks, but enough. I enjoy the people that can really dance. I also think that Donnie Osmond should not be allowed to give his “pick”. “Poor Marie” is getting old real fast. Donny is starting to look like a real jerk. I really enjoy the judges. But I agree with another person, that the judges’ scores should count more, thus making this little less popularity show. Much more of this type of eliminating and I too will be less interested in watching a popularity show. Yes, I do vote

I know when I try to vote sometimes it takes 20 minutes or so to get through. If that happens to everyone I can see why the voting may not be accurate. I would assume some folks get tired of trying to get through and give up. That could cost someone a lot of votes. I am disappointed that Sabrina was voted off I had her pegged for the winner from day one or at the very least in the final with Helio. I would like to see some thing change with the voting since every year some of the worst dancers stay on because of their van base. Even for Marie and Jane to advance to next week was astonishing. Marie was just as shocked as the audience I am sure and Jane didn’t show up for fear she would be voted off. Come on folks is this a competition or not. Let’s get back to the basics if your good you advance until someone is better. Unfortunately this time you voted off the BEST!

I am very disappointed and will not continue to watch the show. Perhaps the same group of spoilers are destroying this show as what happens with American Idol. There is a movement to get the best off so the only ones left are mediocre. It seems that some dancers can just move across the floor and get high marks and those that are actually making wonderful and difficult moves are getting just ok scores.

I’m very disappointed that Sabrina was voted off!!!!

I think we are all forgetting that this was suppose to be a show for non-professional dancers. Sabrina is a great dancer and there is a reason for that…she is a professional dancer as well as a choreographer…she should not have been put on the show in the first place….and I feel somewhat the same for Mel B…not because I do not like them because I do but come on guys it is suppose to be for those who cannot dance to see how far they can go after learning to dance. That is my opionion.

I don’t know if this season is the cursed season or not, everyone has an off time, Albert went because he wasn’t memorable enough, and as far as Sabrina and Mark leaving, they just had an off night, you should watch out for those nights. But I still think there is a conspiracy to get Derek and Jennie in the final 2 against Julianne and Helio, but we’ll just see what happens.

  39. HTV Says:

It is a bit surprising that Sabrina was eliminated, but not ‘shocking.’ And with the show blatantly rooting for a female champion, I doubt if they were rigging things she would go. Looking at the demographics of DWTS versus the demographics of the Cheetah Girls (who I – someone in their 40s – had never heard of seven weeks ago)you can see why she faced an uphill battle. DWTS skews older and more Marie Osmond/Jane Seymour fans are watching to begin with. Not that youth can’t triumph, witness Anton Ohno, but frankly she was not as appealing as he was in terms of making want to pick up the phone to save him.

  40. Nat Says:

Letting sabrina go was a real mistake, at least untill she starts to lose it. I love marie and jane but up to this point sabrina is definitly the better dancer. I don’t know if there is a chance of bring her back but please try. This particular season wouldn’t be the same without her. She was seriouly cheated.

  41. Sandy Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 2:08 pm

I have felt from the very first season, that it is a total popularity contest not a ability contest. I agree that the judges scores should have more weight. People watching do not understand the difficult judging of ballroom dancing. But Sabrina (and others) have been too close to already knowing “dance”. I feel there is really no difference between “pop” and “ballroom”. Stars should be true “amatuers” to dance. Jane has admitted to previous dance experience and others on previous seasons. But as it stands now, it is a popular vote, so if you don’t want your star to leave VOTE VOTE VOTE. Yes it takes a while to get through to vote, but I have never been not able to get all my votes done.

  42. Wyatt Says:

It’s ridiculous to have the public vote. Didn’t they also put George Bush in office? I rest my case. BRING SABRINA BACK!!!!!!!!!!
    Until then, another viewer gone.

  43. dcoomo Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 2:30 pm

While I’m surprised by Sabrina’s exit, I won’t deny that I’m sort of happy that it happened. Yes, she’s a good ballroom dancer.

She is young and with that youth came too powerful movements that lacked grace and charm. While she claimed to have done a slow number with the foxtrot, I certainly didn’t see it. I saw the same fast paced, tough jerky moves. There is fast and powerful jerky moves while there is fast and graceful moves. Again, she was a good ballroom dancer but not great.

But that’s my take of the situation. Everyone sees it through different eyes and walks away with differing opinions. So at the end of the day, no one is right or wrong. We just have differing views of it.

Those who aren’t upset about Sabrina’s removal are not likely to defend their votes….outraged people are the ones that will. So while the majority of the above posts are from those disappointed and outraged, the silent majority sits back and says…whatever.

  44. De Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 2:44 pm

After I got over the feeling that Sabrina had more dance experience than her fellow contestants, I began looking forward to her performance every night. I also assumed she’d be in the top 2. I was disgusted by the “popularity contest” that ruined last season’s American Idol and have felt, until now, that DWTS was immune from this type of travesty. I agree with others that the judges votes should be the only ones until the last few weeks. By that time, the stiff or shakey dancers would have been weeded out. It’s no fun this year because there’s no equity. And for next season, they really should not bring in dancers from girl groups (Sabrina, Mel) and guy groups (Joey). They really do have a leg up (no pun intended) on the non-dancers like Ono and Helio.

  45. Sabrinaisafatphuc Says:
    November 1st, 2007 at 3:02 pm

Okay, stop with the crying about Sabrina getting eliminated. It’s done. Why don’t people get this upset about the people dying in Iraq instead? Sabrina already had an unfair advantage being a hip-hop dancer already. I’m not sad that she’s gone. She wasn’t that pretty to look at and was quite obese and overweight. You would think that she would have lost some of the pounds from all the dancing, but I guess when your best friend is that fellow Cheetah star and fat f-u-ck Simone, I guess that makes losing weight an impossible task. See ya Sabrina, we won’t miss ya.

  46. Paulette Says:

No one with a background in dance, should be allowed to enter. Not to care whether it is hip hop/the jive/the jerk or whatever. The competition should be open for people who never had professional training before. Of course this would have prevented Sabrina, Mel or even Jane who had lessons as a Ballerina from entering.

Helio belongs (race car driver) and people of that sort.

Sorry Sabrina fans, the playing field should be level.

I am 75. I don’t think they should even have the older people on to compete with the younger because believe you me, we don’t have the stamina to do the same exhausting routines. At least someone finally uses there thought processes. It is not ABC’s fault that Sabrina is gone. If you don’t vote, don’t complain. I don’t vote at all, but I knew from the beginning it is entertainment not the “whole world crumbling down.” You know right away that it is the stars popularity combined with the judges score that gets them retained and perhaps be the winner. Remember how they keep emphasing to vote for them. Relax…enjoy some beautiful dancing some beautiful dancers. Also since most people don’t text message why not just count phone calls or email. The majority of people have access to those. Perhaps ABC should rethink this AT&T and voting problem. Not fair to give one message so many points. One call, one vote should be it.
Also maybe they could develope a program that “older stars compete with older stars” and young ones with young ones. Seems only fair.
Just think how rediculous most of these older people have seemed in the competitions.

    Folks:

Sure, it was shocking that Sabrina was eliminated, but for those who think viewer voting should be eliminated or given lesser weight, you undoubtedly do not remember DWTS Season 1. Recall that the judges’ vote had a much heavier weight and in the final Kelly Monaco received a ridiculous judges’ score better than John O’Hurley, despite the fact she fell during one of her moves. Despite his popularity with the viewers, she won and we had that “dance-off” with the claim the show had been rigged. Because of that, DWTS changed the voting weight to give viewers equality with the judges.

I have not voted this season and have enjoyed the dancing thoroughly. I think it’s a shame Sabrina was eliminated when she was certainly one of the best, if not the best dancer. Her partner put together great routines. I’ll be interested to see if the quality of dance decreases without Sabrina and Mark there but I doubt it.

I’ll say again, Sabrina was not VOTED OFF. Those who called to vote cast theirs for the other dancers. I’d love to know which of you who say you will no longer watch or think the show is rigged actually called in and voted for Sabrina on Monday. If you did, you have a right to complain. If you didn’t, why didn’t you vote for Sabrina?

CALL AND VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE, REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY DANCED, IF YOU WANT THEM TO STAY IN THE COMPETITION!!!!

I DO AGREE THAT THIS IS MORE OF PERSONALITY CONTEST THAN A DANCE CONTEST. I DO BELIEVE THEY SHOULD ALSO BE ABLE TO ENTERTAIN US,OTHERWISE WHY WOULD ANYONE WATCH. I DO BELIEVE THAT SABRINA SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN VOTED OFF. I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS RIGGED FOR WHO THEY WANT TO WIN.

There is no way that the show is rigged…..come on folks, if anything ABC would have wanted Sabrina to win….she’s a member of the Cheetah Girls, a big group that is popular on the DISNEY CHANNEL, owned by the same group who owns ABC…..DISNEY. Please forget about the conspiracy theories. Every week there is a new one……

I don’t know about the show being cursed this year but this is not the first time a celebrity had the skill and should have made the finals but because they had NO fan base they went out well before they should have gone. I never cared for Willa Ford’s personality at all but I think her skill as a dancer was so good that she had a legitimate right to the title that year. She went out before Jerry Springer and Sara Evans (in the fiasco of pulling out the night after Willa was eliminated instead of resigning beforehand). Every year it seems they have this issue. I usually have an alternative couple I enjoy enough to root for. This year my favorite is still in the contest but I am worried about fan base and if she goes I DON’T have an alternative and will probably stop watching the show. That has not happened before but none of the other contestants have grabbed me. I think they need to monkey around with the concept of the show. It is getting stale. Oh, another thing. I am really TURNED OFF by the seeming push to have the Hough siblings make the finals against each other. Not everyone is taken with them and this storyline. I don’t like having it shoved down my throat which I think it is. Note to ABC!

What a scam ! My spouse and I enjoy the show but have noticed an imperceptable turn toward support of the weird and inept. It’s clear that talent is not a requirement. Sadly we will not be watching the remaining episodes.

I agree with so many of the comments.

Unfortunately, the judges very high scores kept Sabrina on, not her fan base.

This is not the first time we have seen this happen. What about Master P? He stayed on because of his fan base. Many much better dancers went home before him.

I really appreciate the judges comments. People do not realize the many technicalities of ballroom dancing. All three judges are top of the field. They call it as they see it and are not in it for a popularity contest.

Both Marie and Jane have done a tremendous job. I taught ballroom for 10 years. For amateurs to get this good, this fast shows unbelieveable work.

Sabrina is very good. It is obvious that she has serious dance training.

I wish DWTS would have the format that HGTV’s Design Star has. The judges rule until the final two. Then the audience vote chooses the winner. That would be much more fair and yet the public would still get to participate.

I have been a loyal DWTS fan since it first came on the air. I was disappointed in the first year winner, but continued to watch. This show is SUPPOSED to be COMPETITION not a popularity contest. Last weeks result show was a disgrace to the intelligence of the audience. I’m not sure I can bring myself to watch this program anymore. The release of Sabrina was absolutely unbelievable and if the judging isn’t taken over by the qualified judges that critique the dances, then I do believe I will no longer watch this program. It is a disgrace for the public to see such outlandish judging.
Marie and Jane do not belong on the show any longer. They have outdone themselves and should quit whil they are ahead. Jane Seymour, too whinny for me. Get a grip!

She was not that convincing to me. Already a dancer, her performances did not seem that good – it was like she was not in the same competition meaning that she was not that much better or even as good as those who were not dancers already. She was cute and vivacious but that does not mean she was the best. The others displayed qualities that made voters choose them. That is the way these things work. It isn’t only about who is the best – it is about which contestant reaches the hearts of the voters. Get over it if you don’t like the results. It isn’t “fair” necessarily, it is a game. A personality contest, a story. she made it as far as she did on her spunk but that is all she had. She certainly does not have Jane Seymour’s grace nor Marie Osmond’s all-American appeal (not that I think that means much). Nor did she have the luxury of dancing with that hunk of a man the spice girl got. There is a lot that goes into the selection of who wins- not the least of which is the way the professional dancer portrays him/her self and the relationship, real or perceived, in the minds of the voters. i would never vote but enjoy the show. I think the blond man, with whom he dances escapes me right now, is the one who will win because he seems so real and accessible. By the way, what is up with Jenny Garth’s teeth? I never noticed that on 90210.
In the long run, who cares who wins? Life goes on and we enjoy the show.

The show has become a popularity contest.

Judges scores should count for 66% of the voting, then the contestants would really learn the correct dance steps and technique instead of putting on a show for votes from the viewers. I have watched for years, but am disgusted at this turn of events. As much as I like and respect Jane and Marie, they in no way are top dancers in this contest.

    Sabrina was amazing.

I love the show but don’t find any one dancer particularly appealing which is different from past years. I didn’t really like Sabrina all that much, nor anyone else but I must admit that she should never have gone before most of the others. I can’t believe Marie is still on there. She is sooooo boring. The judges can’t blame the voters though. There scores carry a lot more weight than the voter. If they wanted her to stay they shouldn’t have scored her so low. But then I don’t think they were totally unfair. Its just a weird season. Most everyone is good but most of the stars are not that appealing personality wise or performance wise. There dances are good but not inspiring as I’ve felt in the past. I’ve always voted in past years but this year I’ve felt lukewarm about most everyone. I did think Sabrina might be the second woman to win everyone seemed to think she was so great. I don’t know, I’m sure I’ll keep watching, I always await the start of the show but I am dissapointed this year that I don’t seem to be enjoying it as much as I have in the past.

what a lame show. I loved DWTS when it first hit the tv screen, but over the past seasons, it has become a popularity contest not a dancing contest. The judges should have 75% and the call in vote only 25%. that way the popularity vote would not be so blatant. Please consider doing this producers of the show or you will be losing many viewers. Right now i am just hanging on because one more popular vote and i wont be watching ANYMORE.

  72. Marcie Says:

Of course the show is a popularity contest! Look how long Billy Ray lasted last season and he clearly could not dance, nor did he act like he really wanted to be there. There is no doubt that Sabrina should’ve stayed – but it is what it is. I watch for the dance, not the stars on the show.

  73. Bobby McBride Says:

  74. Meredith Brockman Says:
    November 2nd, 2007 at 11:44 am

I cannot believe that Sabrina was voted off either…to me it is more of a popularity contest…I think that it should be the judges decision in the end, because they know what they are talking about when it comes to ballroom dancing.

  75. Jim Says:

To quote a ballroom teacher above:

“Both Marie and Jane have done a tremendous job. I taught ballroom for 10 years. For amateurs to get this good, this fast shows unbelieveable work.

“Sabrina is very good. It is obvious that she has serious dance training.”

This from a ballroom teacher. This show is about the growth of the stars doing something that is foreign to them. Realistically, I think the stars should be able to perform week after week to show that growth and once that has happened, then have the voting start. In this fashion, we will have seen how a star has or has not grown….Sabrina was too good (according to those upset) too fast, obviously, because of her youth but more importantly, because of her training.

    To quote another:

“Very disappionting and discouraging to young girls who will think everything is based on how popular you are and not how good you are at trying something new. I guess I need to go back to watching HGTV.”

Perhaps the popular comment is well grounded but to say “girls who will think everything….(is not based on) how good you are at trying something new” could not be further from the truth.

Those that are still on the show have shown growth, personality and grace. True, Marie’s performance the week before was not the greatest and Jane’s jive wasn’t her most comfortable, just as Helio’s two low rated dances by the judges and there’s also Mel’s walk around the stage (my interpretation) gaining a perfect score?

All in all, I watch (and vote) the show because it is fun to watch…both for the comfortable and uncomfortable performances.

Get over it, its a show intended for entertainment and if you take it that seriously, then you shouldn’t be watching.

  76. Jennifer Says:

I disagree, the way the judges have conducted themselves so far this season does put them into question as far as their scores (especially during “liftgate.”) They have been subjective way too much and leaning towards their favorite (Sabrina.) For the rest of the pack, something just didn’t seem right about the scores (up until Monday’s dance something seemed really off with them)

This has always been a popularity contest since season 1, so the popluar vote can’t be entirely blamed. Perhaps if the jugdes had 2 scores (one for artistic scoring and one for technical scoring like in the Olympic sports) I would be less inclined to judge them.

I am glad Sabrina is gone.. The show isn’t rigged – the fans just didn’t vote for her!! Could it be she was a little cocky? Did the older audience not appeal to her practically seducing her partner on national TV? Or could it be that she was just plain to young and the teenagers that would have voted for her were already put sent to bed by their Mom & Dad’s? Could be any one of the above. Personally I am glad she’s been eliminated!!

is unfair to stars that give up
their time for your show to continually get treated so unfairly.I can’t believe stars
continue to want to perform on

    You are discouraging anyone from

Boycotts? Popularity Contest? We’ll duuuuhhhhhh. You’ve got a large number part of the United States, not to mention the world, voting and you expect it NOT to be a popularity contest. This is entertainment. Be entertained. If you miss Sabrina, buy you some tickets to see the Cheetah Girls, she’s still dancing her heart out with them and that will last much longer than this season of Dancing with the Stars. If you don’t want it to be a popularity contest then you need to lobby to get the voting segment removed and just go with what Carrie Ann, Bruno and Len have to say. But for now it is survival of the fittest, the one fittest to receive the greater number of votes.
