Don’t Forget The Lyrics Renewed For 13 Additional Episodes
December 07, 2007 02:02 AM by Joe Reality
The hit reality game show Don’t Forget The Lyrics has been extended by 13 additional episodes. The musical competition is hosted by Wayne Brady and airs on FOX on Thursdays from 9PM to 10PM ET/PT with encore episodes airing on Fridays from 8PM to 9PM ET/PT.
In Don’t Forget The Lyrics, contestants select songs from different genres, decades and musical artists. The contestants sing alongside the studio band as the lyrics are projected on screen. When the music suddenly stops and the words disappear, the contestants have to sing out the correct missing lyric.
If a contestant gives the correct response, then they get to choose whether to “stay and play” or “take the money and run.” If a contestant sings nine songs correctly, they are presented with a No. 1 hit and one final missing lyric for the top prize of $1 million.
