American Idol season six finalist Phil Stacey is currently recording music for his debut album. Phil Stacey is working with producer Wayne Kirkpatrick (Little Big Town).

As a child, Phil Stacey sang in his father’s church in Fairfield, Ohio. He also studied vocal performance at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Phil Stacey joined the United States Navy in 2003, and he served as a Musician Third Class at Navy Band Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2007, Phil Stacey’s life changed forever as he became a finalist on America’s most popular television show, American Idol. During the competition, Phil Stacey performed several country songs including “Where The Blacktop Ends,” “The Change” and “I Need You.” After the American Idol tour, Phil moved to Nashville with wife Kendra and their two children to pursue a career in country music.
