VH1 Announces New Show, Viva Hollywood!

What are the Seven Deadly Sins? Passion, lust, charisma, drama, fire, seduction and scandal. At least those are the “Seven Deadly Sins of Telenovelas” competitors in VH1′s newest reality show, “Viva Hollywood!”, will have to master each week to survive elimination.
That’s right, VH1 is looking for America’s “numero uno telenovela star.” 12 bilingual latino and latina hotties will move into the “Casa De Locos” (does that mean Crazy House? Or House of Crazies?) and compete head-to-head for the grand prize: a spot on a Telemundo show, representation from Latin World Entertainment, and a $100,000 cash prize.
But first they must satisfy the judges — Actress/singer Maria Conchita Alonzo and actor/singer/songwriter Carlos Ponce. If they don’t impress…they will discover their elimination by watching their own death scene.
Other celebrities to look for in this show are Latino Legend Walter Mercado (who will be guiding and advising the actors along the way), Daisy Fuentes, Perez Hilton, Lorena Rojas, and…Charo (insert shimmy and *gitchy*gitchy* here), among others.
“Viva Hollywood!” will premiere Spring 2008 on VH1.
