Bravo has revealed the hosts, mentor, and judges for its new reality competition series Step It Up & Dance. On the series, contestants will learn what it takes to make it in the cutthroat dance industry. The host of series will be actress and dancer Elizabeth Berkley. Berkley has appeared in such films as Roger Dodger, Curse of the Jade Scorpion, Any Given Sunday, The First Wives Club, and Showgirls. Of course, she is probably best known for her role as Jesse Spano on NBC’s Saved by the Bell.

The mentor for the series will be director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Mitchell is an Emmy Award nominee and Tony Award-winner. Mitchell will mentor twelve dancers as they learn every conceivable dance style, including ballet, ballroom, Broadway and burlesque.

Judges for Step It Up & Dance will be director and choreographer Vincent Paterson and choreographer Nancy O’Meara. Paterson is known for directing and choreographing Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” Tour and Michael Jackson’s “Bad” Tour. O’Meara is known for choreographing the Disney TV show Hannah Montana and the High School Musical Tour.

On Step It Up & Dance, dancers will face challenges where they audition for a range of parts. The dancers will be judges on their versatility and moves. In the end, only one dancer will get the final “call back.” There is a $100,000 prize for the ultimate dancer. Magical Elves is the production company behind the series.
