RTV Predicts…Our Writers’ Predictions on This Week’s Lineup

When it comes to reality TV, two questions reign supreme: 1) What happened in the last episode?; and 2) What do you think will happen in the next? Without a doubt, Reality TV Magazine has the first question covered. So it just seems natural to us to give a crack at the second question as well.
We’ve asked our writers, who’re watchingyour favoriteshows with interest, to make some predictions about the upcoming week of reality TV. Here is what they said:
Joe:
Predictions on American Idol 7 Premiere:
1. More bad auditions than good auditions will be shown.
2. Simon Cowell will say something offensive that will lead to at least
one organization issuing a press release to express their outrage (and
gain exposure).
3. Paula Abdul will argue with Simon Cowell to the point that Cowell
rolls his eyes, gets up and walks off set. Seacrest will make a big deal
of Cowell getting upset, even though it happens every year.
4. It will turn out that at least one contestant shown in the auditions
will have been arrested since their audition, and it will become a huge
media story.
Jen:
Amazing Race 12:
We’ve still about an hour before tonight’s episode, which will be the race to determine the final three. My prediction is that the final three, racing for the $1 million, will be:
1) Nateifer
2) Ron & Chris
3) TK & Rachel

Biggest Loser Couples:
This week will be a tough one, as the contestants are just now getting into the groove of being on campus, which means A) They’re tired; B) They’re gettin’ their game on; and C) They’re starting to get on one another’s nerves.
I think we can look to see Jay & Mark win another challenge, but still not come in on top at the weigh-in. Neill’s lack of determination will reach a crisis point this week and my prediction is he and Amanda will be the next team to go home.
Wife Swap:
Let’s see…I predict yelling…and more yelling…some stomping and storming out of the house…and more yelling. Someone will call someone else a name. Someone will cry. I think that about covers it.
Celebrity Apprentice:
My prediction is that this week a man will be fired. It might be Gene on Team Empresario, finally rubbing The Donald’s last nerve raw enough to see him blow. It might be Tito on Team Hydra, who seems like he’s ready for a good old-fashioned eruption anyway. Or it could be Lennox or maybe Trace, the quiet two on Team Hydra. (Don’t look for it to be Piers or Vincent — they provide way too much entertainment for The Donald to send them packing!).
Oh, and I’m predicting a nice, shiny gold or yellow tie this week. We haven’t seen The Donald in gold in quite a while.
