Biggest Loser Couples: Playing for Immunity Gets Ugly

Jay & Mark Courtesy NBCNoticed how so far everyone on this season’s Loser has been all nicey-nice and sweet and friendly? Yeah, well, that’s about tochange. As weeks go by, teams get more exhausted and the challenges get harder, and everyone’s more invested in getting to that final weigh-in.

If history is any predictor, alliances will start to emerge and betrayals will occur and strategies will be planned and back-stabbing chit chat will ensue. And that’s when players aren’t there with a partner they love and feel comfortable enough to lay into.

This week the contestants will be faced with a challenge, the reward of which will be immunity from elimination for the winner. That means whoever wins the challenge doesn’t have to worry about whether or not they fall below the dreaded yellow line — they can’t be eliminated anyway.

Things get ugly in the house as players take this challenge personally and everyone wants that “free pass.”

Not like trainers Bob and Jillian plan to give anyone a free pass anyway. Taking last week’s pathetic weight loss numbers personally, the two are planning to work the teams ever-harder this week and put up more impressive numbers at the weigh-in.

Biggest Loser Couples airs Tuesdays at 8:00 PM (ET) on NBC.
