With American Idol 7 recently premiering, Reality TV Magazine wanted to get fans up to date on some of the former American Idol finalists. Josh Gracin, Phil Stacey, and Bucky Covington are all signed with Lyric Street Records in Nashville, Tennessee.

People Magazine recently selected Josh Gracin’s newest single “We Weren’t Crazy” as one of their best new singles for the week. The song received three out of four stars from music critic Chuck Arnold. Arnold said the song was a “country-pop charmer, riding on a buoyant chorus and a feel-good story about love beating the odds.” Gracin, Bobby Pinson and Tony Lopacinski wrote the single, which is going to be the lead single on Gracin’s upcoming sophomore album.

On January 21st, American Idol 6 finalist Phil Stacey will celebrate his 30th birthday. Phil Stacey was in Los Angeles this week for his album and for a publicity photo shoot. After Los Angeles, Stacey will be in Memphis visiting the children at St. Jude. He will also participate in the hospital’s Country Cares For Kids seminar.

Bucky Covington and his twin brother Rocky recently took a camping trip in Kentucky. Unfortunately, while Bucky was cooking breakfast, grease from a hot pan splashed back and burnt his right hand. Because of the accident, Bucky has been wearing a bandage on his hand. Bucky should be fine though for his upcoming performance in York, PA. Bucky will also be featured in the pages of Racer X and Dirt Rider magazines, discussing his love of motocross.
