In two back-to-back episodes of Cops, officers detain suspects in a fountain and on a golf cart. In the first episode, Kansas City, Missouri officers find shirtless men wobbling through the middle of the street. In addition, Rialto, California officers engage in a foot pursuit with a suspect that reportedly threw a bag of narcotics.
Also, officers detain a suspect for walking in the fountain at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev. During questioning, the officers give the suspect a warning for stealing money, and they make the suspect empty his pockets and return the money to the fountain. Officers wind up being called back to the scene moments later.
In the second episode, Lee County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chris Nebel pulls over a golf cart that doesn’t have its lights on. The suspect driving the vehicle turns out to be on probation, driving without a license, out after curfew and without proof of ownership of the golf cart. When the kid’s mother doesn’t corroborate his story, the suspect is sent to a detention center for breaking curfew.
In addition, Rialto, California Police Department Officer Robert Morales goes on an assault with a deadly weapon call. He finds two convenience store employees, who have been beaten. Cops airs on Saturday, January 19 from 8PM to 9PM ET/PT on FOX.
