Those who watched last night’s Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann got a sneak peek at this season’s new Bachelor, Matt Grant. Yes, he’s hot. Yes, he’s rich. Yes, he’s witty and charming. And, yes, he comes fully equipped with a(real!) British accent to die for.
His name is Matt Grant, he’s 27, and a business development manager from London, and he’s hopping across the pond for some good lovin’ American-style.
Grant, the youngest of five brothers, has always wanted to start a family young in life and is ready to tie down and commit to Miss Right. He comes from a tight family, with parents who are still in love after 30 years together.
Matt likes American girls for their extroverted, gregarious natures, and is looking for a girl who is adventurous, playful and fun, who loves to travel and enjoys the outdoors. Hisideal matewill be funny, self-deprecating and outgoing.
And she’d better be smart, too. Matt, after all, has a BA in modern history and politics from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, and his hobby is current events. Captain of the rowing team, rugby player, tennis fan, cricket player, and skier…6’5″, blue-eyed, workout buff…why hasn’t this one been snapped up yet?!
During his short interview with Dance War host Drew Lachey last night, Grant was tight-lipped on details of what viewers can expect from this season’s Bachelor, other than to promise “25 smokin’ women” (something tells me he doesn’t meanthey’re 25 cigar aficionados).
The Bachelor premieres Monday, March 17th, 10:00 PM (ET) on ABC.
