Bring Your Country Talent to Nashville Star’s Open Casting Calls

Out to prove that American Idol so does not have a lock on musical talent-searching, NBC is casting for season 6 of Nashville Star. Holding the title of longest-lasting competition show on cable TV, Nashville Star is a talent search, looking for the next great country music star.
Seasons past have launched careers for Chris Young, Buddy Jewel, Miranda Lambert, Lance Miller and Angela and Zac Hacker, as the prize forevery season’swinner of the competition is a major label contract.
The competition is open to anysingle artists, duets, and trios over the age of 16 who think they have what it takes to bring down the Opryhouse.
The following are the dates and locations of open casting calls for Nashville Star 6:

Those auditioning will be asked to sing a song off of an approved song list, which can be found at www.NashvilleStarCasting.com. A select talented few will then be asked to perform additional songs. Hopefuls should come prepared to sing two songs off of the approved list, or one song off the list and one original song.
