Lyric Culture, an adult female contemporary clothing line has linked up with the reality TV mega-giant American Idol to create a new line of “tween-wear.” Based on the songs and styles of the hit show, the clothing will be sold in 157 Macy’s stores beginning February 2008, under the brand name extension Lyrix.
While, for the time being, Lyrix clothing will be limited to the pre-teen market, expect to see a children’s line and an accessories linesome time in the near future.
American Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:00 PM (ET) on FOX.
