Biggest Loser Couples Contestants Take Road Trip Home

February 14, 2008 11:46 AM by Jennifer_Brown

Biggest-Loser-Courtesy-NBCJust after the Biggest Loser Couples’ Blue Team eliminated football-player-with-a-heart-of-gold, Trent, host Alison Sweeney announced to the Blue and Black teams that they would all be going home.

Temporarily, that is.

On the February 19 episode of The Biggest Loser: Couples, the nine remaining players will get the first-ever road trip home to visit with family and friends in mid-season. It’s been 58 days since our contestants have seen loved ones at home, so this episode promises some pretty powerful emotion as players reconnect with family and friends, only to have to say goodbye to them once again.

What’s more, the players will face temptation, time and time again, to stray from the Biggest Loser program when back in the “real world” of daily living. At least one player will give in to temptation, with possible disastrous results on the scale.

Once back at the ranch, the two teams will face off, as usual, in an endurance-testing challenge, the winner of which will get a huge advantage at this week’s weigh-in.

One team will face the Elimination Room, and someone will be sent home.

The Biggest Loser: Couples airs Tuesdays, 8:00 PM (ET) on NBC.
